The president previously made a short televised address in which he urged protesters to stop demonstrating and instead engage with the government "in finding solutions".

The president already had solutions. Am not sure d type of solutions he was expecting d protesters to provide for him when he is being paid to find solutions to d country's problems. It's very irresponsible for d president to ask protesters for solutions to their demands.

U should also be informed that in June 2019, buhari received a report on SARS reforms. D recommendations of d report are similar to d demands of d protesters. D question is why did d president not implement d report? A year after, he is still looking for "solutions" which he already has. U can see that buhari isn't sincere one bit

The destructions of properties in Lagos was borne out of angers and retaliation from Lekki massacre.
Though it was targeted at government infrastructures.
