Hello people. My friend has a Redmi 8 she bought recently. She activated a 2 step verification code on her Google account but didn't keep the code. Now, her phone got formatted and her account is locked. She is unable to log in into her Google account unless she has the code. She has done everything she can with no success.. Please what should she do. Thank you very much

Why do two step verification and discard the code?
Is the whole point of the Verification process not about keeping that code safely ni, or did I miss something?
This your problem has no medicine. She should go and open a new account. That one is gone.

Just do a 1, 2 step then slide to the left.

Do that for the right too.

Flash the phone

It wasn't like she discarded the code. She screenshot it and left it in her gallery but unfortunately her phone later got wiped. She didn't envisage she could lose her files and data anytime soon she'd have probably kept d codes better.. Do you think there is a way out?

Mehn, there's nothing. 2fa verification is between the account and user, no third party at all. This is why you are advised to save the key or QR code.
