NNEWI (Anambra State) Rose up Today, October 24, 2020 to put a stop to unwarranted destruction and looting of properties by hoodlums under the guise of ENDSARS protests. This move was put in motion by some illustrious sons of Nnewi including Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto (Chairman Ibeto group), Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah (Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District), Chief Sir. Chika Okafor (Chairman Chicason group), Hon. Chukwudi Orizu (Nnewi North Transition committee Chairman), Hon. Nonso Okafor(Member Anambra State house of Assembly) etc, including Members of Nnewi Youth Forum, Nnewi Vigilante Group and indigenes of Nnewi. This security tour is a sensitization aimed to sensitize every resident in Nnewi to be security conscious and to warn the miscreants to desist from further acts of crime under the guise of #ENDSARS.
