Hello Family,

I am so pissed right now. I warned my wife not to take any contraceptive going forward, I have two kids and my last baby will be 3 in February.

Now she hurriedly took post pill last month, few days ago she told me she has missed her period.I can onfirm that she is pregnant. I am extremely upset and I have told her to Immidiately abort the baby or go back to her fathers house.

I have spent the entire 2days reading up topics concerning two burning questions.
Will the contraceptive cause a birth defect?
Is there a high chance of ectopic pregnancy?

I have called a few doctor friends, there answers are just guess work to me. Sincerely, I wouldn't want issues emanating from not taking simple instructions.

Any contribution please...

Yeah. He really really loves her and would do anything to protect her.

Telling her (more like threatening her) to abort the baby or go back to her father's house was just a slip of tongue that happened because he ate okra soup.
So okra soup can make you have a slip of tongue. Thank God I don't eat okra or any other draw soup. Ladies here should take note ooo. O.P and his family will be fine

Bro carry go, no deformation, this was how I forced my wife to take pills during the first month of her pregnancy, cos she was scared of DC.

The pills failed, and I was scared of having a deformed baby.

But she gave birth to the most beautiful girl ever.
Not bragging my dorta is so much adorable and extremely beautiful, wish my home training can allows me upload her here.

The day I held her in my arms, I cried knowing I wanted to abort her.

Carry go

Just relax and let her have the baby, she took in on purpose and this time around involve her parents

Women already know how to take in despite warning from their husbands

Rgis time around, let her be involve in family responsibilities if she has not been contributing

Let her feel the heat of carrying family

Your fear is understandable, you don't want another child considering the situation of the country but right now, there is nothing you can do about it.
Allow the baby grow and give your wife peace of mind, there will always be ways to go about the child when she comes.
Congratulations..

she took the oral contraceptive a month before she missed her period. that's a long time.. nothing will happen to your baby. she's pregnant and in her early stage. this is not the time to make her panic. that alone can affect her health and that of the unborn baby. this is the time to make her feel loved and assure her nothing will go wrong with the pregnancy. apologize to her and make her forget the hurtful words you told her. i wish you peace in your marriage.

Well you must have misunderstood me, what I mean is after birth let her have a share of family responsibilities
Most women who don't contribute to family responsibilities don't understand what it means to reduce the number of kids to cater for
Am sure that's why the hubby is reacting

Thanks cococandy for this thorough detailing, however, I will confirm the drugs she took.
Yes she saw her menstruation last month
Yes we had sex when she was ovulating.

Why did the drug fail or are you saying she got preggy earlier.
chai, oga you are extremely wicked to be frank.
She saw her menstrual period last month then this month you dig her raw as in without any protection whatsoever when she was ovulating.
I guess you couldn't stand the sweetness and that made you pour everything without even doing the withdrawal method.
You even ordered her not to take oral contraceptive like it leads to pregnancy and not your s.perm.
I feel for that woman.

Very irritating and irresponsible husband!

I don't know where ladies pick them from.

You don't have the right to ask her to abort or go to her father's house. That is her house!!!

Highly disrespectful thing to say!!

Now go and apologize to her for being rude after orgasms!!

You should have used condom if you think you were in a difficult time undecided

First of all, a woman looking after little children is sharing family responsibilities.
Secondly, if earning a living could stop anyone from having children, the man would not have come inside her. She can't take in what he doesn't release in the first place.

Who teaches you people to hate yourselves so much?

The essence of a woman working is to have self respect and confidence

Incase of tomorrow she will not be stranded

How can topic be fake.
After considering the concerns of some nairalanders and the doc cococandy, we have decided to keep the baby.

I was extremely upset while typing that. We will do an early scan as advised and one of my doctors added that that the contraceptive could be fake.

Thanks all..

Contraceptives don't work on ovulation days. It only helps to shift the ovulation days further in order to allow sperm that could stay in a woman's body for like 3-5days to die off before ovulation can start, reason she would have change of cycle in her next period. But if she's already ovulating, the pill won't work.
