UKBobo: We know these our paid government officials are so ineffective in everything; so I don't expect better from them. As for #endsars movement, them coming out early after the shooting at Lekki to reassert control by urging all not to destroy private properties especially those not affiliated to government would have done a lot of good; Voicing against the wanton looting of private businesses. The looting of businesses is just not a good sight. It dampened the spirit of the movement. If the government playbook is any good, they would have known shooting unarmed protesters is the SOP for revolution ... Typical CIA playbook. All needed were an international support to the protesters from any G7 country followed by sanctions, and for a few members of the ruling elite to voice support to the protester.. GBAM! You have a full blown revolution. It does show you that the folks in power have their heads between their legs. And it's like this in all ministries and government bodies. Incompetency everywhere. Since Tuesday night the looting looked like an own goal for #endsars. But it appears with all the looting of palliative storage sites across the country, the government is in the back foot again. Do you see any meaningful change with this crop of leaders? When you listen to them speak at the senate house, you will shake your head and wonder how these pseudo-literates made it to governance. |
