Hello nairalanders, due to the high percentage of visa rejection from top countries like Canada and US, I'll like us to discuss alternate ways in which a Nigerian can get to these countries, I'm not talking about express entry or some type of special Visa.

IM TALKING ABOUT GETTING INTO CANADA OR U.S THROUGH ANOTHER COUNTRY

I've heard if Nigerians who go to countries like Mexico, Italy, Germany, Norway for study and later traveled to Canada/U.S with little or no stress.

How possible is this?
Those who have done it should please share their stories, those with experience should please comment and help your fellow Nigerians.

Those countries are casted in my opinion.

Explore European countries.

Enter Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia or Romania with a student visa.

Schools in Lithuania are about 4,000 Euros per annum depending on the course.

Fun fact, do you know that's it cheaper to live in Lithuania than Lagos ?

From there you can get your PR and move to Germany, Netherlands or Belgium.

Don't dull

they used express entry after getting masters in those countries or through job fairs. some Canadian employers go regularly to some of those countries to recruit people ( you must be a legal resident there).

I was looking at the strongest economies in Europe, Italy and Spain came up among the top five.

Anyway, how easy is it to get a PR in the countries you mentioned?

you use an internet enabled phone, seek knowledge, don't be obtuse.

I found out myself from a Nigerian working in Lithuania through her YouTube channel.

For those in Tech, you can visit digitalexplorers.eu to apply for Tech jobs in Lithuania.

Bless !

Bro, you need to have a hot demand skill i.e Tech, fork lift operator, crane operator, welder, carpenter, electrician ati be be lo... before you move to a foreign country.

Like I said, Lithuania is a stepping to other EU countries with a fantastic economy. They hardly bounce your Visa application if you meet all requirements and show POF.

I know someone that schools in Estonia but works in Netherlands / UK during the holidays all for the €€€, you just have to find a way as a hustler. No joy for street. We are all moving to make money and live a comfortable life.

I never said you should get comfortable in the baltics.

Most Nigerians don't have these hence they become stranded when they go abroad.

It is easy via the student route (first hand information) not based on " I nO fiT Lie G!ve yoU nA".

Thanks.

You're right, ednut1. Some people have moved from Germany to Canada via the Express Entry route, but could you please explicate more about the job fairs?

From the link you provided, it appears employers would have to submit an expression of interest to the Canadian Government. How can legal residents in other countries apply?

I anticipate your response.

Hello to y’all, i heard Nairalanders are nice people that assist in guiding visa applicants to the right path.
I want to apply for a Lithuania student visa but I will like to share my situation to you.
I am 22 years of age.
I am currently an undergraduate in a university here in Nigeria @300 level but i don’t want to continue, rather I wish to pursue a barchelor degree at Lithuania university for the spring(February intake).
This is urgent as i would be applying this November for admission firstly.
For a successful visa, firstly, how much should be in my bank statement balance when i apply for visa?
Secondly will i need to tell them i am enrolled in a university here because i am confused, i sat for WAEC @2016. If i tell them the truth, will it complicate issues for my visa? like them asking me for a letter from my university and others, or if i rather lie to them i am not enrolled in a university in Nigeria will they verify? or will it prompt them thinking why since 2016 and me trying to apply 2020! This is very important to my life and I will appreciate if i get a credible reply.
Thirdly, concerning the quality of life in Lithuania, are there jobs there? Is it a good place??
Looking forward to receive a reply. Imma appreciate a lot.
