Moment police arrived at catholic cathedral in France to arrest Jihadist who murdered three worshippers- including two who were beheaded inside the church

Earlier today, a Jihadist killed three worshippers with two of them beheaded in a knife attack at a catholic cathedral in Nice, France.

The attack which left several others injured began around 9am just as mass at the Notre Dame basilica - the largest Roman Catholic church in Nice started.

A video from the scene has now been released. It shows the moment police arrived at the catholic cathedral, where they shot and arrested the attacker, who is currently in the hospital.

The attack comes days after a teenage jihadist beheaded Samuel Paty, a history teacher, for showing pupils cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad while teaching them about the importance of free speech.
