Some folks are unbelievable, just kinda surprised with some infantile write-ups i am seeing on a forum that is supposed to information engine.
Remember you can change the frame but the picture remains the same.

I was almost dispirited on NNPC forum,when some folks were busy bragging about their achievement, inventions and connections , I'm not saying is not good to boost about your connections, but remember God is the ultimate connector.

Remember the Holy book " some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will continue to trust in our God, even our own God will continue to bless us and every part of the earth shall fear him".

Let me digress. I was one of the applicants like you, glancing through the pages of this informative forum everyday , just to find solace! until 14 Feb, I got the shock of my life, couldn't believed I was selected @NNPC , I knew no one, my colleagues at my former work place were shocked cuz some of them had bragged about knowing one senator or equivalent.
please, if you have connections, press hard, if don't have, make peace with God.

May Allah/God be praised. May he bless us with our desires.

To tell you the truth, initially when the person who had promised to help me with getting this job informed in January, shortly before the CBT, that this job will be difficult to influence, I lost hope then. But I looked back at my life since birth and discovered it has been God all the way, that was when I knew that I didn't have to be afraid but to cast all my cares on Him.

I know that sometimes I might be very brash when responding to those who say you or me can't get it without connection, but that is part of my strategy to resist any thing that will negatively affect my faith in the power of God.

I am happy others are catching the 'faith virus'. You happen to be about the third person on this platform that is saying my faith has infected them and I am glad about it.

If you take notice, the fact that there is no accurate source of information is a pointer that truly there is no long leg in this recruitment, so as it is na only God person get and this should be good news to those that feel that they have no godfather.

I am only confused and wondering where in my past posts I have boasted that I have the connections to secure this job as I am currently being accused of. It would be much better if people can read through the thread properly before rushing to wrong conclusions. Anyway, I am used to such attacks and people who know me personally know that such attacks only make me fight harder.

a family friend of ours convinced my dad about custom replacement for my brother and I was like its not possible that there is an ongoing recruitment which he didn't even apply,but he told my dad that it doesn't matter and requested for money.

pls is such thing possible?? cos my dad is about giving in cos he trust the man alot

Your dad is about to be defrauded. Since you said he is a family friend then he must have some level of trust for your dad, therefore you people should tell him to get the job first for your brother aftet his first month into the job you people can now pay him even with extra.
I repeat you people shouldn't part with your money at this stage unless the relationship don tire una. Even senior officers of NCS are grumbling for the not yet concluded exercise because they were bypassed by the DG, according what a middle level officer told me, he said they don't even no what's going on wrt the recruitment. You people should thread with caution things are not easy in the country and people are looking for ways to make money.

Thanks a lot for your response, I called my brother early this morning and he told me my dad already made part payment for the money. my dad refused telling me because he know i will discourage him from paying I am very angry and Pissed off right now thinking of how to retrieve the money before it becomes too late.I am about calling the man to threaten him to send the money back

Appointment letter no be the problem oo...my guy got appointment letter for replacement in prisons in July, from.his senator uncle...oya na, prison don call for thier replacement candidates..baba was sent back at the gate, that his name is not in the list, he is in his own
We just have to be careful, inshort, any appointments letter that is not given at least a month or two weeks to camp...I don't trust it...how can u have appointment letter, when the confused customs boards are still having unending meetings...

By the way, I just got word from an insider in Ministry of Finance that renovation work is currently being executed on the NCS college facility in Kano in preparation for camping.

Although the guy wasn't able to tell me anything about schedule for the next NCS board meeting while one of my paddy within the service said he doesn't know when such meetings are usually held.
