loool. You see factory work is peanut when you measure it by the standard of living in the country. In uk 8 hrs work is 69 pounds a day which can only afford you 3 pairs of jeans in marks and Spencer. And talking about using or being wicked nobody is using any one. That's the demand of the job. 60 year ,70 year old white british, chinese, indians are doing factory jobs standing 8hrs , 10hrs as the case maybe.na there I know why the oyibo term us africans lazy and good for nothing.
Your analysis showcases your laziness. Now can you buy the same 3 Marks and Spencers jeans in Nigeria with that ₦1030. Or can you even buy any good jeans with in Nigeria? Good jeans cost at least ₦4,000. Now do your comparison again.

If you are personally lazy, most Africans ain't.

that I am comparing both doesn't show I am lazy but to highlight the intricacies in factory work globally. I have seen people calling foreigners wicked because of the condition of doing the job and I am telling you that in foreign climes grandfather's, fathers , old men do factory jobs. Even grandmothers do the job. But when you come to Nigeria, young men would complain let alone our old men. That's why they see us as lazy. I am not saying we are lazy but foreigners see us as lazy. If you say I am Lazy this is me doing factory job even when you are sleeping.

It's very simple, compare the purchasing power of what you are paid daily to that of what the Nigerian worker is paid.

That Nigerian or African that you call lazy, when he is exposed to the benefits of well organized factory work will be ready to work 18hours a day, happily.

Now compare what you are being paid in that your own factory work, to that of the OP. If you find yourself in his shoes, I hope you will be more hardworking?

Lol... See you. You went to do factory work, you're forming niggar. Lol..

Most of those factory jobs are slavery in disguise especially if it's owned by those Lebanese.
That was why the conditions of the job were not clearly spelt out to you. They know if they do, majority will reject it. So, they feel by the time you're into it, youll get used to it and won't to stop (according to your co-worker). Plus they know the unemployment situation of our country. so they're using that advantage to over-labour our youths. Very pathetic.

I don't blame them. I blame our govt. Useless bunch.
where is our Labour office , the leadership needs to be visited ...

In Lagos? No idea but I'm thinking it should be in ikeja secretariat because that's where most govt offices are located.

If they paid, say, 5000 naira a day, who wouldn't want to work in a factory?

Hahaha am so sorry for ur pain seriously this country is wrecked. I can’t imagine standing for one hour talk less of 8hours I be soldier niii
it's very inhumane for a company to submit it's workers to such working condition..... after working for 7 hours before I ran away, I can tell you that I have first hand experience of how a typical worker feels while working there...

providing workers with a chair to sit while working is very necessary and important and it's the duty of the company.
this particular company does not feel the need to do so. why? because they don't want to(probably to save cost), and who'll query them? nobody, since it's Nigeria.
again, the workers are supposed to be provided with protective equipment like boots, helmet, cap, gloves, nose mask etc by the company but again, this is not the case, rather, the company is even deducting from the workers' salary to foot these expenses... is that fair enoughhuh

SUFFERING IS PART OF OUR LIVES, NO MATTER HOW HARD WE TRY WE CAN'T ALL BE MILLIONAIRES. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. 20 YEARS FROM NOW THERE'S STILL GONNA BE PEOPLE WORKING SO HARD FOR JUST 50 - 150K MONTHLY. ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO WORK UNTIL DEATH WITHOUT PROCREATING?

Exactly.
Assuming 1 bottle is sold for #5 to #10 or more, depending on what the buyers use it for.
If 1 bottle = N5
3640 bottles = 1 hour = N18,200
7 hours = 25,480 bottles = N127,400

So, the company had cashed out big time off you cheesy

One of the reasons I will be tendering my already prepared resignation letter as a quality control officer, to my boss tomorrow. I am rebellious by nature and frowns when someone takes me for granted with additional task to my detriment simply because I am the quiet type.
