Yes there were indegenes on the hills.But when tin and columbite were discovered by the British, it was the people from those other places that came to start a settlement that was later known as Jos. Remember that Jos was in the Bauchi Province. The Plateau was called Bauchi Plateau before the name Jos became popular.

Now compare that to what has happened in Jos. Some group of marauders arrived a city and begged the indigenous people to allow them settle. Years after they've settled, they turned around and claimed they own the city. Do you know how many lives that has caused?

In Plateau, the Fulani only have Wase local government out of about 23. Doesn't that show you their claim of owning the city is hoax?

And when you freedom of speech, your freedom of speech ends where such speech is detrimental to the Freedom to Life of a fellow citizen and Freedom to Life is a Natural Law higher than any man made Law. Or if you think you have freedom of speech, go to a funeral, take the microphone and announce to mourners that you killed the dead.

Jos/Pleatue is a multi ethnic state due to fertile rich soil and good weather many migrated and settled there, and each settlers told different stories about migration to their people


There's nothing to worry about, my advise is that let the plateau indigenes also organize their own conference. The Josite should be prepared for the worse. These guys are bent on ensuring capturing the land by all means.
No need to sue for peace with people who aren't peacemakers.

You have spoken very well, I just want to correct the impression that Fulani own Wase LGA in Plateau. Actually Fulani doesn't own any part of Plateau, Wase town and a few villages in the Local Government are actually of the Jhar ethnic minority whose proximity to Bauchi introduced them to Islam that is why they opened up themselves to have an Emir rule over them (the only Emir in Plateau State - which our guys are battling tooth and nail to extend to Jos which is by all means impossible).

Also in Wase LGA Christian communities are as many as the Muslim communities too, so don't mistake Wase LGA as a Fulani LGA, it's not.
