A twitter user by the name Utman Isa Tochukwu who is igbo muslim laments on twitter how they were persecuted and their place of worship burnt down by other Igbos because they share different faith.

These are my people in Nsukka (Enugu State). Our Mosque was burnt down yesterday by own blood just because we differ in faith. We are Muslims. Let the hate stop already. #LeaveIgboMuslimsAlone

You won't be able to face this. And I am very ready for you. We are all Nigerians and no body is more Nigerian than anybody. You can't change the narrative. Our Igbo Brothers burnt our mosque @ no 1 Edem Road, Barracks, Nsukka. You can't CHANGE it.

And the 2and Mosque. They destroyed two mosque yesterday. Both of the Mosques in at same street

There are no churches in Saudi Arabia.. while I was doing my youth service in a remote part of Kano, when we requested for a place to worship as Christians, the sariki or so, gave us a very useless old hut that was biult on top of the place the community used as garbage dump! We were forced to use that and whenever we come for worship, the locks are broken and evidence of all sorts of vices done there while we were away litter every nook and cranny of the whole place. ..it was so dehumanizing..
Could be that you guys are trying to inflame passion, but to what end? Islam is alien to the east. There is a wide gulf between the two and that's not changing anytime soon..

Religious Intolerance in Nigeria is just as worst as the corruption in government.

But No one is concerned, because they've not felt the effects directly.

Say No to Barbarism.

No religious tolerance in the East and the North... Infact the North is somehow better when it comes to tolerating people than the East... The only place you can enjoy and have peace of mind worshipping your God is the SW. The Igbo Muslims will surely be a target if they achieve Biafra...

Lol. All the many evil and wrongs in ala Igbo now being exposed at once. Igbos thought they'd gotten away with hiding all that is rotten in ala Igbo by distractingly shouting about Tinubu, Afonja and "Yeroooba" for years.

Now the Chicken has come home to roost. Now those who ignored the tiny snake in their backyard to do amebo over the affairs of others suddenly face a huge anaconda ready to swallow them all. Lol.

Awkuzu SARS butchers and organ traders, Osu killings, women treated like slaves and unable to inherit family fortune as eldest child, toxic and murderous religious intolerance, IPOB menace, cultist governors and ritualist elite and business class, Igbo against Igbo intolerance and discrimination, grave political and administrative misrule etc, etc, etc, etc .

In Naira Marley voice, ase O po to yi. Oro Yoruba le fi bo. Lol

Hypocrites!!!!!!!!!!!

See them committing heinous crimes in their state and even trying to hide it so people don't get to know about it. You guys are cowards and very intolerant.

You guys are worse than the north you call extremists. Our brothers in the north are not cowards. They don't do a thing and then try to hide it from the media.

Arrewa, see the way God is exposing these hypocrites

I recall when IPOB attacked Ekweremadu in Germany, how a lot of dumb Igbos and IPOB members, even on this forum, supported that shameful act against one of their most respected sons against on reasonable counsel.
I reminded them then that if that particular incident was not condemned in its entirety, it will embolden the IPOB extremists to continue in their destructive agenda and will further divide the Igbos against themselves. They called some of us who advised them all manner of names. Now look at what is happening in Rivers and Enugu state. Oh so you think the governors will sit back and watch some bunch of touts take over their states and unleash mayhem on anybody they feel like after the Germany incident?
They have burnt most of their bridges - people who should have spoken for them have either been embarrassed, thoroughly harassed or totally insulted. Now you wonder why Igbo elites are not speaking out in their numbers concerning what is going on in Rivers and Enugu.

The other side of the story..
I am from the south south, but i respect the religious tolerance in the south west, they are typical example of the Byzantine era, where Muslims and Christians worked together, and Christians could invite muslims to teach them, and muslims could invite Christians to expose them in their ways of thought... Those where the golden age

But majority of Nsukka people are Muslims and nearly all their daughters married Hausa fulanis

It is a well known fact that you won't find UpTo 7 churches in Nsukka as a whole but high raised mosque and mini mosques are littered around the nooks and crannies of the Nsukka

So you guys should stop disturbing our peace here.
