What this pictures shows is a tip of the iceberg, I pass through Bayelsa through mbiama last weekend, you'll cry when you see the level of flood and nobody is talking about it.
I saw it too, I felt soooo bad..

Those guys are suffering, most of them have moved to the road side.. I wonder how they are surviving..

Start from Your Councilors,
Your Local Government,
Your State Government,
Your Reps in the House,
The senators representing you at the senate,
Before you jump to the Federal government.

This is how things are done in a sane countries.
The Federal government allocate money for 85% of these kinda projects to your state government already.....every month,
But since your Governors know you will never come meet them for all the misery happening in your backyard,
but it is Buhari Buhari that is in Abuja you will be blaming, then they loot away your future codedly.
Until you guys become wise and behave like civilized people, this is the way your environment and life will continue to be for the next 100 years.
No caps!

Sad reality.

Modify :
The Federal Government give to Rivers state every month almost double the allocation that the governors in the Northern states receive.
But look at the below beautiful pictures by Arrewa,
Look at what the governors are using their monthly allocation to do, and look at what your state looks like... just compare!
Una go get sense las las, when you all truly know who your real problems are....
Truth is bitter!
Rubbish.

Those places are unviable for sustainable living. From Badagry to Bakassi, those places will be under water and part of the Atlantic in 50 to 100 years from now. Nothing governments can do about the global warming fallout. Buying property even in Lekki/Ajah is becoming an expensive game of musical chairs. Those astute soccer gamblers will be familiar with the term 'cash-out'.

No one says the north is underdeveloped in terms of infrastructures. The north is underdeveloped when it comes to human capital development and intellectual resources. An abysmally backward geography put paid to by blind adherence to religion and oligarchic influence.

You see why they refer to hausas and Fulani as cows and goats. You guys hardly have sense. So you posted beautiful pictures of Kano to use as comparison with a village in Rivers State on the banks of the Niger that has been flooded. God Forbid bad thing. The North is full of airheads.

Engenni, Ahoada West LGA of Rivers State is being ravaged by flood.

Our thoughts goes out to those affected by this flood.

We call on Federal Government, National Emergency Management Agency and Rivers State Government to come to their aid, please.

THE IJAWS ARE THE ARCHITECT OF THEIR OWN MISFORTUNE.

YOU PRODUCE THE PRESIDENCEY FOR GOOD 6 YEARS AND YOU DO NOT KNOW WANT TO DO WITH ABUJA FEDERAL POWERS.

GOODLUCK JONATHAN AND DEZIANI MADUEKE WERE BUSY TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD AND SHAKING HANDS WITH WORLD LEADERS.

GO TO DELTA STATE, BAYELSA STATE, IT IS THE SAME FLOODING ESPECIALLY AROUND IJAW TOWNS AND VILLAGES.

WHAT DO THEY DO WITH NDDC MONEY?

WHAT DO THEY DO WITH 13 PER CENT DERIVATION MONEY

WHAT DO THEY DO WITH AMNESTY MONEY?

They should not blame President Buhari for the problem they are going through now.

YOUR GOVERNORS have the opportunity of travelling to study the water topography of THE NETHERLAND where tunnels were constructed by the dutch to channel water around AMSTERDAM.

You never see Atlantic ocean flooding streets in the Netherlands.

But Niger delta politicians were busy siphoning public funds.

LITTLE DID THEY KNOW THAT NATURE WILL COME BACK TO DEMAND FOR ITS OWN SHARE OF THAT MONEY.

NOW THE IJAWS ARE SUFFERING.

E. K CLARK is seeing that the ijaws are suffering from self inflicted problems.

The Engenni communities experience flooding like this every year around this time .sometimes it is worst .
It happens as a result of the fullness and drop out from the "Orashi river "
Some communities in Imo and and Bayelsa too experience such flooding .
Well,Flooding is a bad thing but period like this can be so interesting if you have experienced flooding around these area before. Although not at it worst.
The aftermath of flooding around Engenni has both negative and positive outcome. And,it can be so interesting.
Akinima
Okarki
Okparaki
Ikodi (My second home )
kunusha
Igovia
Udoda
All Engenni communities.
I really enjoyed my time living around Engenni .
Memories that I can't forget !!!
