Why The Middle Belt Will Remain Part Of The North by Bulleye(m): 9:13pm On Nov 02, 2020
The wild goose chase by the south to embrace the so-called middle belt is turning out to be a mirage afterall. Notwithstanding the killing by the rampaging herdsmen and bandits, the middle belt seems comfortable remaining part of the North. Together with the core North, the south is seen as a conquered territory to be raided. No southerners should be deceived by the middle belt.

The cover enjoyed by the corrupt political class of the middle belt will not allow them to break free from the core North stronghold. The middle belt should be allowed to carry its cross. No unsolicited solidarity from the south should be extended to the middle belt. Most of the anti-south press statement from the northern governors forum are read by the Christian middle belt governors.

The south must not allow the middle belt to slow down its march towards emancipating its people. The middle belt should be left alone as part and parcel of the north. Religion should not blind the south into forming any alliance with the middle belt.

A loyal slave is more deadly than his master.

I just watched Northern governor forum addressed the press after their meeting with buhari and some security heads; there was no mention of any middle belt governor (apart from Kogi deputy governor and plateau state governor). You are entitled to your opinion though.

Yoruba does not belong to southwest alone. Even in northwest there are many indigenous yoruba I know of thousands of them in Funtua and malumfashi (katsina) sabon gari (northern kaduna) and many places. Beside what will you do about those in Benin republic? Merge them with SW?

As for me, the middle belt should remain with arewa and not to be joined with the south east especially. They are more closely connected with the north. Majority of them don't really like south easterners. Highest they should form a middle belt region. Joining a section that don't trust another region is an avenue of impending crises.

We should not be looking at the political class who want to preserve their position and acquirements.

Just like Nnamdi KANU said when he was quizzed by Dele about the position of Southeast Governors on Biafra and he replied and said that each of them only has one vote.

So I think we should ignore the utterances of the Caliphate subservient ruling class of the Middle Belt but rather gauge the pulse of the masses who are in the majority.

When herdsmen come, the ruling class don't get attacked. Their houses don't get burnt. Their daughters, wives and mothers, don't get raped. It is the masses that suffer these things that we should know where they wanna be.

And so far, from all indication, majority of Middle belters are tired of the mess and are willing to align with the south on the mission to rescue Nigeria.

Why are you trying to grab Kwarra? The fulani conquered the territory fair and square. You would have to go to another war to retrieve kwarra. That's even if the kwarra yorubas even want to identify as yoruba. Come to kwarra and you will not even smell yoruba culture. My Kwarra friends can't even speak yoruba, but they can speak hausa.

Kogi yorubas don't even identify as yorubas... they prefer us to call the hausa, they speak hausa and embrace hausa culture. I have multiple friends from Kogi state, and not one of the identify as yorubas

How can you yorubas even form a nation when you hate yourselves. Why do you hate the ijebus so much?

There are no yorubas in Niger.

Omo land grabbers.

Omo attache by force. grin

THERE IS A NEW NORMAL.

MB HAS ALLIED WITH SOUTH because now they understand nothing but death awaits them at hands of Arewa.

We of South will support them as we have property and businesses in Abuja (MB as ethnic nationalities know their own ancestral lands) and will NOT lose them carelessly to Arewa parasites. This is not 1967, or 1970. We are a new breed. We are going to show we are winners.

some Christians in Plateau and Taraba are loyal to the south, Kwarans tilt more to Yoruba land, Benue and Kogi are on their own, no allegiance to any mudafucka, and then the Muslims in the region (most) have their allegiance to the north.
Everyone in the region however keep the South East at arms length.
