Update your phone and Google dialer app bro, the call recording function has been available for some time now.

The update might also improve your battery performance.

Go to xiaomi compilation thread and check some settings that can improve your battery.

Your call log problem might be down to personal choice cause I'm okay with mine.

N.B. the call recording feature was initially removed cause EU accused the Chinese of using it to spy on them and gave them an ultimatum to either remove it or they won't be able to sell phones over there.

You're on the latest update, what about your system apps especially the Google dialer like I mentioned earlier ? If you do that update you'll get the call recording feature.

Try to go to the xiaomi compilation thread if you haven't and perform the tweaks written there that can improve your battery performance.

Even wizkid does not like transiøn. As I type this now my guy's tecno is having charging port wahala. Meanwhile, with my type c, I don't worry about that. Also, my bestie infinix s4 of 2019 can't receive call any more. Went to the seller, she said we should check service center or whatever they call. The plan is now to buy galaxy s7.
Transiøn knows the low quality of their device that's why the emphasis is on spare parts.

This is a lie My sis has been using an hot5 for about 3 years now the only problem is the 16gb space and it was always telling her to free space.She bought an SD card and that was solved!

3.Spare parts are scarce

4.Chinese version and Global version WTF
5.Rubbish space
My second sister bought a Redmi 7 or so
The supposed space was 32 Gb
What we met there was 10 Gb available
Nonsense system apps and MIUI had taken 22 Gb
6.No acessories in the market
e.g pouches,Screen guards etc
7.From what I've seen from Xiaomi users in my 3 year Guest stay on Nairaland
They seem insecure,bashing everywhere with Xiaomi
I obviously don't want to feel insecure because of a phone!

Brands like itel have their products tailored to low-income people.

The fact that phones are affordable means one thing; they aren't fully packed but somewhat to meet the VERY basic needs of the targeted consumer.

If they pack all the specs, then it wouldn't be affordable would it??

These guys are just frustrated that itel and other transsion smartphones have captured a very large swathe of the Nigerian market.

This statement "they are only jealous of Transsion domination in Africa" is the kind 9f mentality I'd like you guys to abandon, we ain't kids no more. No one would be hurt by the "dominance" of Transsion in Africa, when it's not like Xiaomi is my father's company why would that bother me?

Secondly I personally have nothing against itel because I've not used their phones before, people who have used it say it's cheap and if that's true then there's a class of people they are targeting if you happen to fall within that class it'll seem like a very great device because it appropriately meets your needs

But for people who want more powerful devices, these phones would not be great for them

I consider itels production as something meant for people looking for budget phones and aren't interested in gaming or heavy usage, so if their phones are really as cheap as they say in relation to the specs, then maybe it really is okay

I've never really been interested in the brand so I don't bother to do an in-depth research on their devices
