your post is correct. But one thing which the majority of trump supporters have failed to realise is that, the remaining votes left to be counted are the mail-in ballots which are leaning towards Joe biden 99% . They're huge in its millions in each of the swing states. Joe biden asked his supporters to embrace the option of mail-in ballots in order to reduce the spread of covid-19 on elections day and the majority of them did just that. Walk in ballots or votes cast by walking into the polling booth have all been counted, remaining the mail-in ballots. It would take a miracle for trump to get up to 1% of the mail-in ballots to his side. In pensylvania alone, they've not even counted up to half and the remaining ballots are still in millions, most of which are in favour of biden.

Why did you think trump suddenly came out to say, he would challenge the outcome of the votes in swing states and the supreme court should stop the counting of the mail-in ballots, the system which had been in existence before ever dreaming of being in the white House? Early this morning, trump was leading nevada by a few margin but with the mail-in ballots counted so far, biden had overtaken him, now leading. I won't be surprised if nevada is called any moment from now, all things being equal.

Its a tough election and tension are high. However, Trump knew well in advance that those leads in GOP controlled state are going to shrink or disappear outrightly.
The GOP made it impossible to count mail-in ballots untill election date (or even close of election). That is how their electoral laws are worded. Note that electoral laws differ state by state.
So, the walk-in election day votes were counted and since this were traditionally republican ways of voting, Trump showed an early lead. But he was aware that there were outstanding mail ballot yet to be counted. Roughly two third of the votes are mail in ballots. Does he expect that they will be discarded? Now that will be illegal.
All votes will count. Some states law allow mail in votes to come in as late as 7 days after the election as long as it was postmarked by election day. It is not an overnight decision. Its a known law. It is legal.

That said, there are still path to victory for Trump. Just not as easy as he thought. Of course it could go Biden way too. Trump is going to take Pennsylvania even though the margin will shrink. I dont think it will shrink well enough for a Flip. Arizona looked locked in for Biden. If he gets, michigan and Wisconsin (already flipped with the remaining voted biased towards democrats) and stay on course with Nevada( looks too close to call, but once again, its all absentee and mail ballots which are skewed in Biden's favor) that gives 270 votes. He probably will get the last Maine vote too. Thats his surest path to 270.

What people are not considering yet is that such a margin does not gurantee the presidency. Electors still have to vote and there are expected to be around 5-7 faithless electors. If those faithless electors come from states where there are no laws binding electors to vote per their state returns, they can swing the presidency in any direction. If the faithless electors votes for other candidates apart from Trump and Biden, none of the two will be declared. The House will have to select the president and the Democrats hold on the house is shrinking. Additional problem is getting the States delegations (mix of blue and red) to vote as a unit for one candidate.

All in all, its going to be tense all the way.
