Why? I don't understand why you need to appeal to people to show up for work that they are paid to do.. What I want to see or hear about these bastard policemen is MASS RESIGNATIONS. If you feel endangered, unappreciated, aggrieved or whatever as a policeman, then RESIGN.

You can't keep drawing salaries from Nigeria's public funds, answering policeman, yet you are claiming that you don't want to work. God punish your generation. Resign and go and do any other job of you don't like police work again. Don't retain your redundant and useless self as an absentee policeman!

I was vindicated
Have said it in one of my comment during EndSars protest that same people clamouring for SARS to go will still be the same people that come out protesting for insecurity in their area.
There are many hiding agenda behind this end SARS protest, but God willing, if time favour us. gradually we would get to know them.

I have been enjoying my travels since last week. I don't look forward to those unnecessary roadblocks.
Since their absence, there have been no recorded highway robbery. So what exactly are they returning to do?

You’re so much stronger than your excuses
Don’t compare yourself to others. Be like the sun and the moon and shine when it’s your time.
Don’t Quit and Don’t tell everyone your plans, instead show them your results.
I choose to make the rest of my life, the best of my life.
“Nothing can dim the light that shines from within.”
Take criticism seriously, but not personally. If there is truth or merit in the criticism, try to learn from it. Otherwise, let it roll off you.”
This is a reminder to you to create your own rule book, and live your life the way you want it.
If you don’t get out of the box you’ve been raised in, you won’t understand how much bigger the world is.

cheers!

You all know why they aren’t motivated to go back to work, their salary is actually nothing and they’ve been making ends meet by extortion all these years. How do you expect them to feed and provide for their families and fend for themselves on the meager salaries their being paid. People say they don’t want to be extorted, dehumanized and rob by the police anymore and police responded by saying they’re not motivated to work anymore too. That tells us they can only work if allowed to continue to extort and rob Nigerians.

Why should there beg those POLICE to go back to duty

Why are they being paid

That is the not way out. Every day SOLDIERS are being killed and that does not stop them from duty

Too much pampering that is why

We need the Nigerian police to return to our roads as soon as possible. Since they left, a lot of things have gone wrong.

There's nobody to collect bribes from motorists every kilometer of the highway. This has made the roads boring and uneventful.

There is no forced traffic jams anymore, the roads are now too smooth to drive on and this makes journeys that would have lasted 4 hours to be 1 hour. What kind of short journeys is that?

Since the police has gone out of our roads, traders are now loading their vehicles and travelling from market to their shops without incident, they are supposed to be stopped and delayed so they can pay bribes. This is not fair.

How can you travel on southern Nigeria roads without policemen to point guns at civilians? This is abnormal.

More people have been using their bikes freely without harassment of police, how dare them? We should bring back the police so that people will use their legs and trek.

There's no police to torture, harass, search the passengers on highways like the passengers are known armed robbers? This is strange indeed.

STATE POLICING WILL SAVE NIGERIA YOUTHS.

Ugwuanyi is gradually turning to a mumu man
He has always been a mumu man. All south East governors, both PDP and APC are mumu slaves to Fulani men.

So why were they against the #Endsars protests which in essence was supposed to be for their benefit. Something tells me they are comfortable collecting bribe and bail money.

your lies will be your end. I wonder the state that you are in, in Benin, boys now stand at the road collecting money from motorists. The traffic is terrible because of drivers driving one-way and refusing to obey traffic laws, soldiers collecting 1k from vehicles loading goods for market women at Benin expressway, daylight robbery at 3rd, upper, mission road and aduwawa, robbing of POS shops and stealing their POS machines and other goods. Benin people should come out and deny these things.
It's only on nairaland that they keep denying these truths grin grin

This is why we need to do something in this country, no hesitation. We pay this people for goodness sake. If they they don’t want to resume duties, they should be sacked entirely and we move on with good cops that resume work. Jobs will be created for unemployment citizens whom want to be a member of the new excellent cops. We don’t need to beg anyone for work.
