abnot: You need to chill please. This is the third hot take you have dropped, on the IELTS thread you literally told them that studying to ace English alone was pointless...lol. You have also told us you didn’t apply for FSW EE because you wanted to wait and get your 3years experience from one company forgetting that life can deal a different card to others and age might make things even more difficult. Just relax.... 18 Likes |

Good day friends. Thumbs up for the ongoing good work. Please, help me dissect the ffg scenarios : 1. First degree in Mechanical Engineering (2016) 2. MBA (2019) Can he claim 3 points for the work experience he started in 2017, with his 1st degree while also claiming points from the Masters (under education)? We thought he can only claim points (work experience) starting from after the MBA year but someone said otherwise. Please, e SORO SOKE, abeg you, biko. Thanks in advance. |

How will you remember? That should tell you how often you do this to people without a second thought. Just stop being this way. Why will you be putting up a laughing/smiling emoji for such a bad news. Does that sound like someone who wishes others well? If you like, dont take note and change. Stop being rude and condescending. Not everyone has it as easy as you seem to portray you do. If you dont get that, then you got more problems than you realise.

I need help please. For my primary NOC (Chemical Engineering- 2134) I have just 2 years, 5 months and 26 days experience. This was after my Masters in Chemical Engineering. My first degree was Industrial Chemistry. After NYSC, I worked in a Pharmaceutical Company as an Analytical Chemist for 8 months. I am confused about what NOC to use because Chemist (2112) and Chemical Technologists (2211) have similarities and I performed tasks present in both NOC's. Please can you help to see where I best fit. Job Description: QC Analytical Chemist • Analysis and sampling of raw, portable and purified water by checking parameters in the laboratory according to standard operating procedures • Sampling and analysis of raw materials semi-finished and finished pharmaceutical products using standard methods of analysis • Develop and maintain sample storage systems in the laboratory store room under proper storage conditions. • Calibration of laboratory and factory equipment • Preparation of Daily reports of laboratory analysis and quality control processes conducted. • Ensured quality, health and safety standards were upheld during the stages of the production process by monitoring, routine checks, testing and random sampling. • In-Process control monitoring of processes such as mixing, drying, compression, blistering and packaging by conducting assays • Research and development of raw materials, chemical formulations and analytical methods. • Approved release of finished products from factory to warehouse after thorough quality checks • Supervision of Interns, Trainee Chemists and Technicians Thank you. |

I got mine from GTB last month, I told them my requirements, they told me this was not the normal letter they provided, so it had to go through an approval process which only took two days. After which my request was granted and I was given the letter required. Therefore, I think it depends on your branch and relationship with account manager. A point to note, I did this remotely, as I am presently abroad. Nikkybeth: 2 Likes |

Yellowmellow: It is well my bro/sis. You will be get your desired ITA. For the rest of us, let's all start praying that Trump looses this election o! I am sure some of you would be wondering how e take affect your PR process.... Here's the gist... Trump is against immigration to the US, and by default, loads of people will turn their attention to Canada as the next option...this will increase competition as we have seen in the past 2 years or so. If Biden wins, he is pro immigration and all will go back to normal as people would naturally prefer to move to the US than Canada. Also, I understand some companies in the US that employs temporary worker and push for their work visas/green card are beginning to plan to move some of their immigrated staff they can't get work visas to Canada as a result of Trumps ban on foreign workers. Canada is the closest 'make sense' country they can move to. This will also drive the numbers of people relocating to Canada and impact chances somehow. So my brothers and sisters, let's all be praying Biden wins o! Lolz. PS. Can't even believe I am concerned about US election and not concerned by my own countrys... Lolz. It's well. 6 Likes |

It's usually within a week, the week of the exams. Say it's on Saturday. Your speaking test can fall on the Monday etc before the Sat. Sometimes, it falls on the same day and sometimes it depends on the candidate, you may reschedule it to fall on the Sat if u had no time during the weekday. All the best. oty1993: |

Daraojo:Wow. My branch bluntly refused saying the reference letter cannot be altered. I'm now confused. Should I go back and keep insisting or should I use the letters I have and explain it. This thing is supposed to be easy and straight forward but I guess some people like to make things difficult. Same bank with staff giving conflicting info as if they don't have the same training. I'm just tired. Who knows maybe they gave you what you requested be cause you're already abroad. Sorry I'm just venting 1 Like |

When I did mine with BC(computer based test), I scheduled reading, listening and writing for morning and speaking for an evening time. In retrospect, I should have scheduled speaking first because the instructor was sleeping when it finally got to my turn at about 5pm... I had a 7 in speaking. It's not stressful doing all on the same day but schedule your speaking first. My scores were LRWS 9,8.5,8,7 oty1993: |
