Wow, nice development. At least Benin has joined Aba in having independent power plants. This is the only way to ensure regular power supply in the long run.

Geometric energy owned by former minister of power, Barth Nnaji already has a bigger independent power plant built in Aba, just that EEDC has been fighting them in court since over who owns the Aba business area.

This is what I expect lagos govt should have done....but they are only good at killing innocent people..

I have been advertising that I need contract to supply not lest than 1000MW but not contract is coming my way because I don't know anyone in a country as Nigeria where talented youth die with their talent because they don't know some body that knew someone.

What is 55MW that the Edo government is jubilieting for, 55MW have capacity to serve only 5500 house hold if function at 60hz.

I can solve Nigeria electricity problem if given the countract.

I don't need government money to carry on the project. All I need is let every department pay for the light before using it, no payment after consumption.

That plant has been ready for a very long time. But they refuse to put it to use. So that we keep buying generator and petrol...

I am not sure if the idea that individuals can get power from the plant is correct. Edo state government had better check with NERC first.

What I remember is that to but power from a producer, it cannot be less than 1MW or so, and no individual can buy that, except you stay in a fairly large estate and the deal is consummated as an estate.

And this was the same man that Tinubu did a live video conference to demarket.
It will never be well with Tinubu and his supporters of darkness

it won't do any harm to appreciate it as the long overdue have at least been broken and 24hrs light a day is gradually becoming a reality.
