I answered your question rhetorically sir. If Christians have a well reserved titled monarch that oversees everything regardless of being catholic or other sect then you would have seen him there. Sultan is a religious leader and also a monarch.

CAN president can't be there because he is not a first class monarch. Just like Sheikh Dahiru bauchi can't be there because he is not a monarch despite his influence on Muslims.

Either way all the monarchs that are in attendance from the south are Christians, in the absence of having a Chirstain unitary monarch they can represent the Christians.

Cheers

who is a monarch?

But the Alaafin of Oyo did. He even put the blame on Buhari. There is a video of him online addressing youths in Ibadan. The other Obas or Kings were quiet. I am sure Buhari will not invite him even though the Alaafin of Oyo is historically the most powerful king in Yorubaland. However, Ooni of Ife is symbolically the spiritual head of the Yoruba people being the lineage of founder of Yorubaland, Oduduwa. I actually love that arrangement. One possess the political or military might historically while the other has the spiritual might.

The last time Alaafin attended a meeting of traditional rulers in Abuja, Babangida was head of state. I dont know why, but that Oyo King loves pussy than he loves Nigeria.

There is nothing like South east traditional council of Ndi Eze. Anambra will never Involve in such madness with that term Eze and as at that no such Council as South council of Eze.

What is Obtainable in Anambra is Igwe or Obi Which is the same as in Delta.

What do you mean by Eze, who practices such nonsense.
Na dem dem... agents of division. They're doing all they can to cause division among Igbos but we're wiser than them. Stinking impostor.

I created a thread on nairaland that sultan is not a king and since then no one could prove that he is truly a king

wasted Nigeria government trying to hype the sultan from his religious leadership to a traditional one
The Sultan of Sokoto doubles as both a king and a spiritual head. The first sultan was Uthman Ibn Hodio... other emirs get their staff of office from him. To show you his political side, there's no emir in Sokoto... it has always been the 'Sultan of Sokoto'.
Ordinarily, his jurisdiction as a fulani king and as a Islamic leader should stop at covering only the fulanis and the Hausas whose land he occupies but because the fulanis have no regard for other people, they started claiming him as the leader of all Muslims in Nigeria thereby demanding the loyalty of all Muslims from other ethnic groups. These ethnic groups will include even those from Southern Nigeria and the middlebelt despite them having never been subjugated by the fulanis. This is why they're doing all they can to make inroads among the Igbos so they automatically get the express loyalty of some Igbos to cause division of consensus among us.
I'm very interested in the agenda and outcome of the meeting. Who are the Ezes from Igboland that went for that meeting? We must know them and watch them closely. No sellout will be tolerated among us.

explain how a religion that has no ancient connection to Nigeria culture until 1800 became a traditional affair instead of it usual religious affair

can anybody prove it that there was no ancient culture existing in those area before Islam came?

can we also call Christianity a traditional people when dealing with Nigeria culture ?

the mistake has been make for long and the north are happen about it but when the south decide to say no to it problem will rise

most of our traditional kings no the truth be they just decide to keep quiet maybe because they don't want trouble.
