The river will always find its routes. ....if you look at the Adelekes and their success, you will know there is an Igbo gene running in them, no wonder Davido went back to a Igbo land to give his son a solid footing.

All the great families in Nigeria have a root in Igbo land, from Obasanjo to Atiku to IBB, to Fani Kayodes to Aliko Dangote, to Akeredolus, to Peter Odili to foolish Wike.......all of them have a root in Igbo land just as most great white men have their root in the Jewish nation, but the miscreants continue to hate on the blessed tribe of Igbo for no reason, instead of humbly befriending an Igbo guy or lady to connect to the greatness, una go hate tire sha, but we move wink
Why Our Igbo Land con poor like that especially Abia.

Provide any evidence to back up your claim of ooni having igbo roots.. As for the nonsense ooni said, iku baba yeye, alaafin of Oyo already scholarly and historically refuted his silly claims... Here we go again, you couldn't hide your Tinubu obsession, dem curse you people ni?
Ooni obviously said that just to promote cooperation and prevent hate.

So David's grandmother is an Igbo and his wife is an Igbo then his son's name is Ifeanyichukwu an Igbo also...very good to see the South uniting
I don't want to sound like a bigot. But when you see a thread about Peter Okoye and Lola omotayo, now Okoye and the high level of tribalism being shown, you will wonder if the South is really uniting.

I expect this same kind of energy when next the Okoyes hit the frontpage. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. One South, one love.

yes na, if you check very well, even in your family, the most successful person there has a tie with Igbos, but the miscreants prefer to be hating, which is why they remain hoodlums grin grin
I'm sure if you check your family well too, you will see that the most successful person there too has a tie with Fulanischeesy

Davido, Adeleke’s nephew, wrote in the comments section of the post “Mama” with love emojis for emphasis.

The family’s patriarch Senator Raji Adeleke is also late.
So the Adelekes have Igbo matriachy. No wonder they are this progressive minded.

Yorubas are soòòòòò sòòòòòò different to Igbos. If it was revealed today that a prominent Igbo family has a Yoruba matriarch, we would never see a thread about it going beyond one page and one can be sure even that one page would feature very few contributions, if any at all, from Yorubas.

We are just too emotionally balanced and secure in ourselves to care about things like that let alone be attributing the greatness of a whole family or clan, consisting of many different individuals, to ethnic composition.

Just shows the inferiority complex and clannishness Igbos are not ashamed to display over every single topic of discussion.

They prefer to follow that ex drug baron from Futajalon who later migrated from Osun to Ikoyi where he remote-controls the remaining miscreants and their Awawa boys cheesy
How can the slaves to the bini kingdom be reallated to the Yorubas?Yorubas and the binis are brothers. Both Yorubas and bini had their own kingdoms which the Ibos never had until Britico gave your warrant chiefs red caps.

Well, Yoruba men are loved because of their gentlemanly and alpha nature.....plus we don't treat our women like properties, can't be said of most egotistical flatin0s and unknownly to most people it's easier toasting an Igbo chic than a Yoruba chic....I served in Port Harcourt and I can tell you that an Igbo chic will shag u on the first date. I can marry an Igbo chic but will never allow my sisters marry igbo men, we may marry your women but that doesn't mean anything, obj married a south easterner but look what he did at odi when they dared him...

Before you see one igbo guy marry one Yoruba girl at least you would have counted 5-10 Yoruba boys married to igbo girls.

To crown it all, some of the guys look down on igbo girls that marry Yoruba boys
You are very correct. Any Ibo woman (or man) that is married to a Yoruba, Benue ethnicities, and other ethnic groups outside Iboland east of the Niger river, is considered an OSU (A SOCIAL OUTCAST) or ORU (Slave) in 2020! Every Ibo who is about to get married is viewed as a potential Osu until investigations are done into the family history. Osus are discriminated against in the villages (by the so-called diala or freeborn), and they are NOT allowed to take chieftaincy titles or get married to non-Osu Ibos. This is the worse form of INTRAETHNIC TRIBALISM! NOTE THAT: Based on the Change of Name sections of newspapers, 9 in 10 Yoruba men actually prefer to get married to Yoruba women, and it is NOT true that Yoruba men are dumping Yoruba ladies, and are rushing to marry Ibo ladies! Over 9 in 10 Ibo men also get married to Ibo girls for cultural compatibility. Just in early April 2020 an audio recording of a live phone-in program that I listened to on the Osu caste system had many Ibo men and women who live in LAGOS & OGUN vehemently justifying the practice which was first banned 53 years ago. A Yoruba or Esan lady who gets married to an Ibo Osu automatically become Osus along with their children.

I remember when she passed on in 2009. She hails from Akwete in Abia State and was a nurse. In 1967, the entire family relocated from Enugu to Ibadan. All their children could not speak Yoruba on arrival from Enugu.
