Nigerian humanitarian has left tongues wagging on social media networking platform, twitter after he exposed that bride prize is only meant for virgins.
Reno Omokri related his points with a verse in the Bible. He wrote via his twitter handle that people who are against that shouldn't argue with him but they can argue with God.

He also stressed that in African traditional practices, bride prize is only paid for virgins while non_ virgins won't be paid anything.

There's something I don't understand about this virgin issues up and down, is there anywhere in the scriptures that virginity is limited to only ladies and that men's virginity does not matter? Or have i been reading the wrong scriptures?

I thinks its a credible assertion based on biblical standards... a damsel by Gods plan shld remain chaste till she meets her husband. those days in is real if a man gets married to a Jewish lady & discovers she was broken before matrimony... he was to return d bride to her parents with the white linen evidence with which she was laid that wedding nyt(if not stained wt blood).. he must be refunded & the brides parents will face the shame & public ridicule... the worst u can do to an Israelite woman is to disvirgin her b4 matrimony.. she pours ashes on her head & weeps hopelessly bcus her marital destiny & family name has been destroyed... 4get d corruption in d world today.. Gods standard remains dsame....
But in reality today, u cant just go away with someone's daughter without paying bride price... by d cleansing power of d blood of Jesus, any lady who genuinely repents will still be viewed as a virgin b4 God, for OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY & she is now like a newly born -BORN AGAIN.. However, this benevolence of Gods grace shldnt be a licence for immorality.. God is not mocked.
