Celebrities have to maintain connections with their fanbase. The otaku community in Nigeria isn't big or influential enough yet for most celebrities to connect with.
The average Nigerian is more into football than even popular cartoons like Flintstones or Ben 10. So our celebrities push trends that will help them connect with the average Nigerian.

lol...that's 2000 right (three zeros) not 200 (two zeros)...if so then a lot definitely can't afford it...or most will think spend 2k for about 2hrs sitting or wait six months, 100 night plan, download and watch whenever...
