Sincerely, you can't learn the language all by yourself. You need a tutor to lead you through.

Please can anyone recommend a great book that comprehensively teaches french grammar? I want to do a month of self study before I find a tutor, I'm already using duolingo and watching french youtube videos but I've always been able to learn faster with books.

Why I personally love the App is that it has Grammar lessons which Duolingo doesn't really emphasize. And knowing the French grammar properly would set a solid foundation for your French learning journey!

Well, as the person I called said, their classes are divided into segments . For me, you can always opt out if they don't perform.
A1.1
A1.2

A2.1
A2.2

B1.1
B1.2 etc.

Do you get. Each class is 25k per month so u spend 2 months on one level. There are videos for you to watch anytime and zoom classes three times a week.
All this I know from debating too whether to join them or not and calling Joshua.
My point is you can try them for a month.

If this isn't a subtle promotion just as a lot of us here already know some monikers in here are capable of (i.e hiding under several monikers to promote the same product) and that you're being sincere with this post, pls share the breakdown of their prices, not this speculation that they are the best in online services, people in Naija and in diaspora using them and all..
All we need is affordable services, unfortunately, everyone seems to be cashing in on our desperation to learn French and calling very unreasonable and unfriendly prices.

Personally, I have spoken to a lot of recommended numbers on this thread; some of whom were even touted to have helped the "testifiers" almost free, I can tell you that the prices they mentioned were something else...!
What majority of these guys don't know is that it's only a matter of time, the tide will always turn no matter how storm rages, and we'll indeed have people who genuinely wish to help learn this language at truly affordable rates that could almost pass as free.. and the opportunity to earn a decent and fair living will all but be gone. I'll repeat it; it's only a matter of time!

We sha no offend person, for the larger population of we learners, na old we old..
We're not asking for free service but that these guys have a bit of the fear of God in them. Money is only but ephemeral but the impact we make in people's lives will linger for eternity. If you know, you know.

You actually did speak my mind. It is becoming so outrageous with some of the prices. It should be a win-win, when someone passes, they can always recommend your service and also increase the number of students you have thereby increasing your income.

Sorry but I'm also having the same issue. Even with some other Apps that use the same Google Pay system. I even tried using a VPN, it still didn't work.

Refer friends and get the free access. That's what I've done.
