The IGP cannot fire them without Police Service Commission's approval which he wouldn't get for such offence, anyways. He can only dismiss junior officers that way.

Plenty of business men in my area with excess police escort weren't listed here. Well it's nice tho. In America the only people required to use police escort are the President and vice president, others use Private Security Agencies like ADT and G4S

I don't think it will work. The pressure will be too much on the IG.
Private security dont carry weapons ie guns. Besides they do not have command and power a police escort has.
