Some times I wonder the idiosyncrasy of an average Igbo-IPOB person. For those who do not know. Oyigbo is a boundary town between Rivers State and Abia State but in Rivers State. It is almost a place where those who can not afford the high cost of life in Port Harcourt move to stay and do their businesses in Port Harcourt. It has different people from different part of Nigeria. Though due to closeness of this place to the Igbos, they have the highest population of the non-indigenous people settling there. The place is almost like a no-man's land. The place is also close to Ikwerre and Ogoni Communities. This place is called by Rivers people Oyigbo. What does this name mean? It means literally though a little bit loose interpretation an :Igbo person'. Oyigbo means an Igbo person which makes the place more Igbo. Now to show you how senseless most of these IPOB miscreants are they prefer Obigbo. Gentle men Obigbo mean The Heartland of Igbos.
Gentlemen let's be fair which of these two names take this place close to the Igbos?
Oyigbo-Igbo people or Obigbo-The heartland of Igbos?
The heartland of Igbos should be a place somewhere like in their middle like they call Owerri. Oyigbo a land at the boundary of Rivers State and Abia State ca not be a place in the centre of Igbos. Enough of this education.
