We have those high number of agencies because people want the government to create more white collar jobs.

And in the abscence of investmennt, as well as a refusal to deregulate the oil and power sector(because Nigerians are too poor to pay N300 per liter of fuel..which is what our poorer neighbours NiGER, benin and Cameroon pay)...which could driectly and indrectly increase jobs....government creates desk jobs and flls them with people who have nothing to do.

And for all Nigerians...we are a poor country. There is no national cake. Time we faced that reallity and started from there. We are a poor country. We must indstrialize and become a manufactrung power before we can talk.

My forcast was that by July this 2020 government would no longer be able to pay workers, USD would break 500 naira ceiling.

Cost of imports increased sharply for some reasons. 1. The clueless government ban withdrawal from Dom accounts. This drastically reduced the remittance of money to the country. By the time the fools reversed themselves the Naira had crashed against the dollar. 2. The lies about diversification of the economy never happened. 3. While undergoing a borrowing spree without anything tangible to show, the excess crude account created to act as a buffer against oil price fluctuations was mindlessly looted while $1billion was withdrawn to fight boko Haram. 4. The foreign reserve built by previous governments over a period of time was looted with nothing to show for it. 5. Even the covid 19 palliatives donated by foreign countries, organisations and private companies were also looted. I had better stop before I burst into tears. What a disgraceful set of rulers.
