Paystack sale at this time was the most brilliant strategy employed... they have seen zuckerbergs whatsapp pay coming, it is gradually overtaking India 1bn population and sending Google pay into oblivion, china has its wechat(pay), so it's kind of difficult to penetrate china.. it's only a matter of time before its employed in Nigeria. with our addicted usage of whatapp, definitely quickteller, USSD codes, remitta, kuda and all others have serious competition in the nearest future.
I.will like this in Nigeria..but might not be good for our economy thereafter.

Their slogan of "BANK OF THE FREE" caught my attention. I'm a customer already and they're living up to their slogan. For now

Yoruba guys balling with brilliance. The other guys from that region won't like this

They raised 10million USD and employ people from all tribes,

You are here 247 on a faceless forum practising Tribalism. Lmao

Facebook, Google etc hire developers from all over the world cause they know the value of hiring quality,
Don't spend your lifetime hating people, use that energy on learning something productive.

Why will hate another tribe when you didn't select

Your Country,
Your Nationality
Your Tribe
Your Race.

Life selects these things for everyone, they why spend time hating on something you cannot select?

When you leave Nigeria, trust me, your mind will be more exposed smiley

Potors, do you now see how miles ahead we are from you? No be by chest beating and one 2by2 spare part shop. Real men think global and that's Yorùbás. 1000s of potors in business amount to just 1 Yorùbá entrepreneur.

Since 1999 paypal and even stripe (both mainstream payment platforms) are yet to come to Nigeria. So what makes you think WhatsApp pay (a side player) will come ?
There are lot of features on Facebook right now that are not opened to African users, thats not to talk of the much more precarious fintech world.

I have been using this app for three months now... Everything is working fine... Bills payment online.. transfer to different bank.. free 25 transfers every month... No one needs to be queuing up in bank these days... All you need is your bvn and if possible.. to upgrade the account.. you will need your identification card
