United States Secretary of State , Mike Pompeo , on Wednesday , says the US government will use all tools at its disposal in the fight against terrorist elements in Nigeria and West Africa .
Pompeo made this known after the virtual meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS co -hosted by Nigeria on Tuesday .

According to him , “ great progress ” was made at the meeting with the Federal Government of Nigeria .

The US Secretary of State tweeted , “ Great progress was made at yesterday’ s virtual Global @Coalition to Defeat ISIS meeting on West Africa. We will use all tools at our disposal to counter ISIS and its affiliates anywhere in the world . My thanks to Nigeria for co -hosting the event. ”

At the meeting , the US and the 82 -member global coalition it leads expressed full commitment to defeating ISIS and other terror groups including Boko Haram .

The PUNCH had reported that the Commander , US Special Operations Command Africa, Maj . Gen . Dagvin Anderson, in August this year , sounded the alarm that the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda terrorist groups were infiltrating northern Nigeria and parts of West Africa.

There is no way the US will succeed in the fight against terrorism in W/Africa and Nigeria as a whole without stepping on toes of politicians in the APC led government.

They know a Trump victory will signal an end to their cash cow in the name of Boko Haram.

A Trump victory means rigging 2023 elections will not be as easy.

US interests in Nigeria is limited to combating terrorism.

They have no desire for trade or investments.

The pentagon takes the lead here, instead of the department of trade.

Nigeria should also release a press statement saying she will do everything within her power to dislodge gang bangers from Chicago.

U.S commitment comes after the delivery of the fighter jets, thanks to Trump. Enough of VIP treatment to terrorists & bandits, whereby billions of our resources have gone into private pockets.

Pompeo or Pompous, whatever his name is, should stop talking, nobody made his country the policeman of the world, first they should go and get their election results right, ensure they have a smooth transition. Trump has really dealt with the US and exposed their hypocrisy.

Why did Trump not end Boko Haram since 2016 when he be assumed America presidency?

What is Trump looking for 4 years without action such that he will now be the messiah to deliver Nigeria from Boko Haram if he’s re-elected?
