I got beaten by a military guy at an accident scene which led to a gridlock, the Road Safety Officer controlling traffic asked me to move which I did, but the soldier who just wanted to clear road for his boss asked me who told me to move and I pointed to the Road Safety Officer, the next thing he did was to hit me hard with a lug on my lungs, I was injured and bleeding and the road safety guy was so shocked by the actions of the soldier that he was pleading with me to take in good faith. He also felt powerless despite been on his road safety uniform.

I wanted to go meet the soldier oga but the people around were telling me he would do me more harm and that I can't fight him because he is on uniform, a uniform he has disrespected by hitting me for no just cause.

Do not think that what the soldier said was just a careless utterance. Army and police have been licensed to kill unarmed citizens by the Nigerian Government. Otherwise,how many of them have been convicted by government for extra-judicial killings. Only recently,the IGP of Police asked policemen to use force ie kill,to ‘defend ‘ themselves.
And now, the Nigerian Government has branded #EndSARS youth protesters terrorists,for asking police, that’s Government agent ,to stop killing them.
