boss good evening... please how true is this info and please do you have the repayment schedule? for those that got 450k whats going to be there repayment amount and for how long? thanks in advance
Viking007:
You all should remember it is a loan not a grant. We all have exactly 1 year to begin repayments. Monthly repayments can be as low as 20k and as high as 60k, depending on your approved amount. Though I personally pray everything scatter so nobody repays. cheesy

Pls, I just updated the link with my first bank details few minutes ago but I got a text message from Nirsal of creating a new Nirsal account for me and they sent me the account number. What do u have to say to this? Someone earlier said the money has been paid to the Nirsal account. How true is this?

I got same message of a newly created account but I didnt see any alert and also, how do I check this new account balances. Does it also mean the loan had been paid into my own nirsal created account also?
It's been paid into your NIRSAL bank account. login to the NIRSAL approval page to accept the loan conditions and supply your bank details. Check previous pages for the link.

Good morning please do we need to open Nirsal account before the cash drop or is it with our normal account we filled
Re: CBN’s N50bn COVID-19 Fund Disbursement Begins Thursday by FatimaMK: 6:41am On Nov 13, 2020
I don't think there is need to open NIRSAL account because people receive their loans in their accounts with other Banks.
I used FCMB account to update my details, even though I didn't receive alert up til now but I believe it will show any moment God willing. I have updated my Bank details a day before yesterday.
Morning all!!!

I didn't get any notification of approval or so, but when I checked the covid19.nfmb.com.ng and I imputed my bvn, it took me to a page telling me of the loan and the approved amount etc. So I updated it with my first bank account details. But prior to this, I had gotten a message earlier from Nirsalmfb telling me they had opened a bank account for me. So, where will the loan be paid? In my nirsal bank account or first bank account

I have been seeing a lot of comments and questions here, so I would like to answer some based on my observations.
BUT PLEASE NOTE: I AM NEITHER A STAFF OF NIRSAL MICRO FINANCE BANK NOR CBN

222 NEVER GET APPROVAL ...

ABEG ANYBODY WITH 222 DN GET APPROVAL?

To the person that I quoted above (@emmaak2 and to others who share the same thought), it's a wrong assertion. There are over 3 persons whose BVN starts with 222 and got approvals on Tuesday, the 10th of November, this is a fact that I know. So please relax and be hopeful. No one knows the exact criteria they adopt for approvals, so it would be best if we quit coming up with funny theories. Be hopeful.

bimbax:
AlhamduliLLAH,
It's high time i appreciate and thank all those that kept this thread alive thereby keeping our hopes high & alive.

Just used the link to confirm mine and out of 700k, 180k was approved.
Moratorium= 12 months
Tenor= 36 months

To @bimbax, the bolded part is what they stated on one of the pages that popped up when you saw your approval. But on the acceptance page, there's a lengthy memo which I believe that a lot of people don't bother to read. It's stated therein, REPAYMENT STRUCTURE: Fixed amount per month (covering both principal and interest) TENOR: 12 months from Disbursement Date. MORATORIUM: 3 months moratorium on both principal & interest
Another part of that memo reads and I quote "The Borrower consents that the Bank shall, without notice or demand, apply any credit balance (whether then due), to which the borrower is at the time beneficially entitled to in any account with the Bank and/or with any other bank/other financial institutions, in (or towards satisfaction of any sum then due and payable (but unpaid) by the Borrower to the Bank under this Agreement."
My advice: Please beneficiaries should endeavour to read terms and conditions of loan applications in order to fully understand what they are signing up for.

sapientia1:
Good evening.

I received this message sometime this evening: Dear **** ***** **** your account has been created successfully. Your account number is 0250******
Thank you for banking with the NIRSAL MFB

I applied for this loan since June, didn't get any message prior to this, didn't get an email, nothing, just this message. Does anyone have idea what this entails, please. Thanks.

@sapientia1 and others wondering same, my observation lately is that NIRSAL MICRO FINANCE BANK creates accounts for beneficiaries and automatically sends the account numbers to them. Relax and do nothing. Your commercial bank account will be credited.

Thanks so much for your clarification. It really helped a lot. Is every body having same moratorium and repayment tenor or it differs individually?

Kudos man!
These newbies really needs so many information but they fail to read some pages in the past that would have settle the thirst.
Anyway, I will enjoin everyone who have gotten approval and updated their BVN not to worry about anything than to focus on the business they want to venture into. Kindly join hands in prayers that the remaining of us want for our approval should get ours too, na so the thing go sweet.
I claim my approval today and for other junites.

You're welcome.
I can't say. But it's best to carefully read the memo on the acceptance page to see what's applicable to a beneficiary before clicking "accept".
It's quite lengthy, so it would be OK to just look out for the part where the tenor and moratorium are stated.

If you follow the history of the loan from the beginning (you can go and read the page one of this thread) you will discover the same rules gorverns everyone benefited from the loan, same term and condition, no matter the amount either SME or Household, same moratorium, same repayment percentage, jolust go and read to understand now that your loan has been approved or disbursed so as to know when and how much to payback and how to payback

Stop disturbing yourself, there is nothing that can be done to "bvn doesn't exist". You just need to keep checking every moment, morning and night, till it turns approved.

I applied for #500,000 on June 10th, but it is showing bvn does not exist... Can it be because of the amount I applied for?

Also, are the applicants from Lagos really getting approval? Thanks in advance for your response
