SMEs In this lockdown Is the money meant to boost businesses

So Nigerians are to collect loans as palliatives grin grin grin grin

This got to be the most useless government in the whole world!!!

Are you aware that the stimulus the US is giving tax paying individuals and small businesses is not free money but loans that they will collect back as taxes when the pandemic is over & income is generated again?? Do you know that there are guidelines like this that they have laid down for small businesses that want to access the stimulus funds? Google is your friend... verify it.
I guess USA is "the most useless government in the whole world" according to you!!

This is indeed a funny country. When there was movement, they didn't support you. Now they have restricted your movement and begins to disburse funds for you to run your business, period they know businesses are collapsing.

We shall survive this coronavirus and this government, with God on our side,

I personally have seen the advert here on Nairaland recent times. It's a paid advert. You can ask Seun or Lalasticlala.
I just didn't want to bother myself about checking it because I have a phobia for loans and debt.

2.CBN put out advertisments and announcemts online showing how you could access such loans and what you needed to qualify

Here is the advert

Oh... please..you talk so sensibly. I just replied someone on this thread about this now. It shows that a larger proportion of people on this forum are either illiterate or semi-illiterate or just come in online to read comments and rant and never take note of what is happening around them.

You are partially correct.

Most are here to show their stupidity, moral depravity and gross illiteracy. Unfortunately, they claim to be educated.

Someone even said it is audio N50B and he has 28 likes for that already. Only God knows the number of like minds that will like his comment before the next market day.

You wan collect loan... you no get collateral? Who dey give loan without collateral?
If you are a consistent tax payer with verifiable proof of business or employment, they can give you the loan because of your already established portfolio, but if you have not paid tax before and don't have a stable job or business, how will they secure the loan they are giving?
These are basic principles of Economics, Banking and Finance.

We claim to be exposed and educated down south yet I wonder atimes if that is the truth.

Any time govt comes up with something we are the first to shout na lie na lie and yet people up north are quick to grab the opportunity.

Just like yesterday, acnhor borrowers program pf the CBN came, na lie na lie we keep shouting and farmers up north are benefiting.

This one has come now with the same pessimistic attitude.

A stood as a guarantor for someone last year and he is still utilising the N2M he got from NIRSAL for his poultry business.

If you are reading this and you are interested, give it a trial and do not let people that are still being breast-fed discourage you.

Thanks so much for this comment. I weep for most Nigerians!

When they say go to church, your type will prefer saloon on Sunday morning. Are you a child of "Nobody"?, if you don't know, you're a daughter of the Most High, he has more connections than any King, Queen or Prime minister on earth.

You want to give out palliative to cuttion the effects of the covid19 and at the same time you want to make money from same people you wanted to assist. Who curse this country for God sake?

It it a crime to be a Nigerian?
