Atedo Peterside is a sensible man, well as Access Bank has become a political stung against the people. They also quickly donated billions to the government during covid & later started deductions from the customers. People need to boycott their bank as a protest.

Dem I was at my bank branch today to procure another first bank ATM card. I overheard a guy saying he wants to open first bank account that he want to move his money from access to first bank.......... Now I know the reason some of those guys just dey para that today they will transfer their money to first bank account...... It means access will hear and feel the heat big time.......... Poor access bank

The management of Access Bank Plc has pleaded with their customers for understanding following an online campaign calling for boycott, Igbere TV reports.

The bank accounts of at least eight persons involved in the #EndSARS campaign were frozen based on the orders of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The accounts were frozen about two weeks before CBN obtained a court order to do so, Igbere TV learnt.

Proponents of the call for boycott say the bank should have been more thorough like Stanbic IBTC whose founder Atedo Peterside openly refused to freeze the account of any person without a valid court order.

However, in a statement on Friday, Access Bank said it symphatised with the affected persons, adding it was looking forward to unfreezing the accounts.
