pls i need your help my toyota corolla 2005 model LE just started switching off when i slow down in go slow bt it starts immediately i start and move bt wen i slow down it goes off so iran a scan and it said the sensor and coil abi wetin sef bt i changed it yet its still d same problem, am really frustrated pls i need help |

Stanobel:Iraq that you are in a haste to fix this vehicle......  Anything done in a haste, is never done well....... After you replaced this parts, have you rescanned it? You probably require a more advanced scanner..... Without a proper scan, any gamble would be a false positive, costing you unnecessary money........ 1 Like |

There are many causes. Let me give a few that I can remember. Dirty throttle body Large vacuum leak Dirty MAF (mass air flow) sensor Wrong timing Faulty Crankshaft position sensor faulty Idle stabilization valve Faulty transmission torque converter lockup Fuel pressure issue Scan it to get a good clue.
