They always make political decisions base on emotions. This is another political miscalculation from them, when they lose out they will claim it everyone’s fault.

As things stands in Nigeria today, if the Igbos want to have a voice, they need a United voice, by forming a strong party, a regional party that will merge with another mega party. Defecting from apc to Pdp or Pdp to Apc won’t solve their problems, but create more woes.

1. I want to make it clear to you that I am not an emotional person, I am also a detribalised person. Yes, I am a Yoruba, I don't hate Igbos (Ndi Ebonyi inclusive), neither do I hate Hausa/Fulani or any tribes in Nigeria. My first job was given to me by a Fulani man, now a Senator. My first N1 million in life came from an Igbo man, an Aguata Chief;

2. Having said that, I revert back to my earlier opinions. Does Umahi's switch to APC guarantees him or any other Igbo man the Presidential ticket of the APC? My answer is NO (please note, in capital letters). And I supported my assertion by saying that even my region, South West with 5 APC Governors will find it difficult to get the ticket from Kaduna Mafias despite being loyal to the APC since 2015;

3. I went back the memory lane and I said that in 2019, Engr. Dave Umahi felt aggrieved that he was not picked as the running mate to Atiku, HE WORKED AGAINST THE INTERESTS OF THE PARTY IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND HE STILL NURSES THAT ILL FEELINGS TO DATE AND THAT'S WHY HE IS LEAVING PDP.
This I can substantiate anywhere.

4. Will his purported decampment favour Igbos? Yes.
Igbo votes will now be spread across party lines and this will give them bargaining right irrespective of the party that wins presidential elections.

I don't think tinubu is intelligent enough to advance naija in an honest way. He had a chance to run Lagos (the richest state in West Africa or even Africa) and he performed way below mediocre. He focused on account packing instead of doing a correct rail system around Lagos and it's sister states and even to cotonu. Lagos could have been getting 55percent of the returns for the next 30 years. Lagos is still dirty. No massive state wide drainage system. And many more mess ups. He was so caught up on people hailing him that he thought godfatherism was the next step. He then collaborated with our current number 1 after leading fashola, people think he is Buhari boss but believe me, Buhari don't have a God father in Nigeria. Oga Buhari might be naive on education, on economy and other important things but not godfatherism.

Oga Buhari might even have plans like supporting umahi, knowing that umahi might not do godfatherism but will always acknowledge him. Oga Buhari might do it in the ideology of being the one that supported the 1st president from the igbos tribe. I don't think tribe matters as much as merit in terms of who did what with what they had to work with.

See Oga, I understand perfectly some negative narratives been promoted by some states in south eastern region, the moment you made that statement about how difficult it will be for Ebonyi man to become President first from east I knew were you were heading to, not that I don't respect opinion of others, but what I want to let you know is that the narrative you are selling under the guise of opinion is not real in the present day south east, I went on to give you examples of progress Ebonyi have made even with people like you promoting such narratives, so wake from sleep gone are the days where some people will be claiming unnecessary supremercy, if Ebonyi man will become the President only God can stop him no one else.
