Pastor Adeboye Shares Testimony Of How God Helped Him And His Poor Uncle To Feed In 1956

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has shared an interesting testimony of how God miraculously helped him and his poor uncle in 1956 when they were hungry and had nothing to eat, IgbereTV reports.

He shared the testimony on his Instagram page. It reads;

"Years ago, I think it was in 1956, I was living with my uncle who was poor but I was poorer. If he had anything, we shared and when there is nothing, there is nothing. There was this day we were very hungry and there was no way food could come at all. Suddenly, a young girl came and said, “My sister said I should give you this pounded yam, vegetable and chicken.” My uncle said “I don’t know your sister. Are you sure”? The girl insisted so we took the food and my uncle said he would look for a gift to give her some other time and she left.

As soon as she left, we descended on the pounded yam and as soon as we finished it, the girl came back and said the food was not for him. I decree to you today, the miracle you don’t deserve, the Lord will send it to you this week."

Ogbeni, you and your uncle ate someone else's food. How's that a miracle?

So this thing that's doing you didn't start today. Your historical materialism could be traced back to 1956. This has gone a long way in unraveling why you and your likes have become so proficient in eating peoples food, tithes and offerings in the name of something something.

Modified: You dangerously religious Africans upon my mentions with diatribes and aspersions, when you get tired, you move on.

Stupid thing. Maybe he was suppose to deposit the hot pounded yam and chicken in bank when he thought it was for his uncle indeed.

Your hatred for an innocent man is clearly what is affecting your reasoning power.

Nigerian pastors are the main reason why Nigeria is one of the most fraudulent and corrupt countries in the entire world. If you don’t deserve a blessing, how is it yours?!? How would you feel if someone else took something that belonged to you?!? What kind of society is this?!?

That's why now he has to scrape peoples head to live large ...
Politicians can give this type of stories too.
As a clergyman the moment you're living large in ur private Jets, Mansions and cars .sending your kids to schools abroad and healthcare , and 89% of your sheep's can't afford this lifestyle you're no different from the politicians we rant about .
Cos the both of you are using other people's money to flex .

The man and his uncle confessed to stealing food that belonged to another, only to turn around and claim that God did it. Unless you are going to tell us in your next post that God sanctions dishonesty, you need to stop with the excuses as they only serve to drag God's name further in the mud than these men of god have!

was it their fault? Was it intentional? Didn't they ask the girl who owns the food? Didn't she say yes it's theirs? As far as I'm concerned there's no argument in this case! It's just God's favor. They may not be the owner of the food but God gave it to them!

It was not their fault? Are we talking here of two grown men?

If they truly believed it theirs, then your GO would not have added much of the detail that he did there. undecided

God's favour is to steal food from the mouth of other potentially hungry people so you can instead have food? shocked shocked shocked shocked

I will not stop asking folks such like you where you get this delusion that a God, who we are told is not a God of favour, shows favour to any man? undecided undecided

So why would those who call him daddy GO want to return someone's misplaced money which they found and not call it a testimony?

Why would his followers want to return excess change given to them and not rejoice that it's the blessings of the Lord?

Why would someone working for the government who looks up to him want to remit excess funds and not say it's an unmerited favor?

The church leaders we have today are some of biggest problems we have in this nation.

Imagine the kind of example a well respected church leader is setting, so what would be expected of the followers?

It's really shameful and disheartening to say the least.

God help us.

Except you lack an understanding of the ways of GOD! You would appreciate the Testimony..

Life is not by Struggle! Life is a Gift From GOD..

Why are you annoyed with his Testimony
Na you kill JESUS?

It's not by Might nor by Power! By my Spirit says the Lord!

Esau and Jacob were still in the womb! When God said Jacob have I Loved ! Esau have I Hated!

The Jebusites, the Perizites,Girgashittes, Hitties, Amorites,Hivites and Jebusites were Nations with people in them befor God gave their lands to the Isrealites..

Elijah the Prophet was Directed to a widow who had Her last meal .He told the woman feed me First.

GOD Ways are not the Ways of man!

GOD is the Creator of All! But a Father to only those who Believe and Do what He Commands..

Psalm 2:8 says " Ask of me, I will thee the Heathen for your Inheritance and the uttermost part of the Earth for your Possessions..

The Earth is the Lord and the Fulness thereof! GOD can take from a Heathen to Feed his child who is needy!

GOD can Sack a Heathen to Employ His Child whose needs a Job..

A Child of GOD who knows his/her right in Christ will take whatever he/she desires from anyone who is not Saved..

HE owns the Earth and Does whatever he wills!
Our own duty is to Ensure we are with him so as to avoid being Casualties..
