Oga, Enugu has at least two teaching hospitals already! UNTH and ESUTH.

This is a good decision. Enugu North don't have a good hospital. When I was there schooling late 2000 in UNN it was difficult to have access to a good health facility. The only hospital in the entire Nsukka is one Bishop Shanahan Hospital, a missionary hospital that was nt even a standard hospital and private clinics. People over there use to travel to Enugu for better health care. It is good to better the life of people in that area by given them a good hospital i n the name of ESUT TEACHING HOPSITAL. Please let Governor do the needful to commission this project before he leaves office.

Oga Enugu state university of science and technology have a teaching hospital known as Esut College Of Medicine (ESUCOM-Parklane) located at GRA Enugu. It's only being relocated cos there is no more space for expansion at the old site.
Esut teaching hospital is still among the best state teaching hospital in Nigeria.

Enugu was once the capital of Eastern Region, East Central State,Anambra State, Old Enugu State,and present Enugu State...that is 5 different political arrangements.

These 5 five different political arrangements have their Teaching Hospitals in different locations outside the Enugu City....which would always be inherited by the new state carved out of the one having Enugu City as capital each time a new political arrangement comes up.
