Rossnitti:Great explication you have provided. For one, I know that both the US and the EU do not want another humanitarian crisis like has been experienced in the Middle East. And that's why they are willing to tolerate all of Buhari's fumble if that will maintain stability. If you ask me, I will tell you that Buhari may have died, but the world is quiet to prevent crisis and war. In the end, war won't serve us any good. |

cocolacec:I believe that all these are hypothetical. That said, forget the rants of the alarmists. Nothing like that will happen. But if the Americans decides to attack, whatever happened in Iraq and Afghanistan will not repeat here because in those countries, there exists different military organisations with proven ideological beliefs that ran contrary to western ideals. By that I mean both the Taliban and the Saddam defence forces! Here, unless in the Boko Haram dominated north, nobody will be ready to mount any ideological struggle against any western invasion because fulani irredentism has always been a greater danger. So essentially, We're like a riped Mango! Any of the super powers can easily pluck us. Why? We are seriously devided. We have very huge fault lines that keep growing bigger because of nepotism in governance. We have a very repressive regime in power and most dangerously, the future is bleak. Folks want change but they also know that the change they want can't come under this administrative set up. These have led to uprisings that have been put down brutally! So? People are basically hopeless at the moment! That means that if the OP is right, lots of Nigerians might even help the Americans to come and pluck their riped mangos! Like i said before, we're in this precarious situation because of Stoopid rulers. America is not contemplating the invasion of say Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia or even Egypt or South Africa! Why? Those countries that got their independence around the time we got ours, have biult up their citizens and military set-up up to standards that anybody, no matter how powerful will think of how to manage the dire consequences that will come with such actions. Yet, instead of putting Nigerias inebriated leaders on the spot for failing to do this, emergency Patriots and perennial defenders of the status quo want you and me to believe that it's the citizens who rose against oppressive governance that are to be blamed! They are desperate to blame the over maligned citizens for the consequences of bad governance by a corrupt political elite! Does that make sense? |

Rossnitti:This man I don't understand you on this matter, you are just attacking everyone who is against the business enterprise called NIGERIA. it is obvious that you are benefiting directly or indirectly from the ongoing corruption and looting in this contraption created by the British and therefore you are scared of losing all that you have gathered should in case a military action is taken against the genocide happening in Nigeria, Wake up Mr. man because Nigeria is already a failed state and need an urgent RESET. |

Biafrannuke:Your foolishness wears a hat and carries a walking stick. Who will help you start afresh? America? In fact you're too dumb. All that will happen is WAR and mass casualties, at the end of which the US will help you return to the status quo ante. If you think they will help you break up Nigeria, and get you Biafra etc, you're the biggest dullard on earth. The USA are allies of Britain. Their CLOSEST allies. Why in the hell do you think the US will send in their troops to die in order to SABOTAGE British interests? It's 100% impossible. You IPOB elements lack basic knowledge of geopolitics. You just reason like donkeys. This is the same way Ojukwu went and started seeking French support for his secession bid. France that are long-standing UK allies. Those ones just led him along like a mumu, and he ultimately got ZERO from their alleged 'support', and he got his ass whupped. Geopolitical illiteracy is your undoing, plus your irrational belief that the same western powers that created Nigeria will help dismantle her. It's the ultimate foolishness. You have only TWO choices if you wish to split up Nigeria. One is to do so by yourselves, however long it takes, or seek alliances with the likes of Cuba and North Korea, who will supply you arms surreptitiously. But no. You will go marching to the UN, English parliament, US senate, Canadian parliament etc etc, like fcking zombies. Those ones will just open their curtains and see you coming, through their windows, and burst out laughing. |

I'm not surprised by some comments. And I don't blame them, you can't be hungry and bother to know how international politics work much less try and read history. While some are just plain ignorant. The west is never your friend. Infact nobody gives a shit about the black man, only what they can get out of you. A united Africa will rule this planet. A united and working Nigeria poses more threat than the whole of Africa itself. Such a pity we have so many enslaved in mind , body and soul. The only race that exchanged their own Gods that looked like them for a foreign one. Tueh! |

Nigerians/Black man have no allies, no friends at all. We can only solve our problems with indeginous solutions. The only person that tried to do something for the black man was Gaddafi, when he tried to backup Africa's currency with gold which will bring down the dollars and make African countries independent and powerful. But what happened to him, he was labelled all sort of names by the west just so they would have the opportunity to destroy him which they succeeded in doing. Now, compare Libya before and after Gaddafi, you will see that wherever the West goes to they cause chaos. Also check out what France is doing to Francophone West African countries, it is a pity. The west are all united to make sure Africa/blacks don't rise to their full potential, this is why they control everything. Alot of us still keep believing them, looking up to them Hypocrites! |

My issue with Nigeria political setting, is that we the citizens are always left to choose amongst bad and evil candidates. Just imagine the names seeking presidential post for 2023 and you wonder if there is hope for the country? |

Little did anyone know that Nigeria is the easiest country to invade by a foriegn power. Invade from east and you gladly see easterners host and join the invaders to topple the nepotistic government. something similar to Kurdish fighters in Saddam's Iraq. Invade from west They will just welcome you like tourists and host your forces, its their tradition, them no too like war. Avoid this zone your forces may end up being too distracted with their mission. Invade from south All you need is a single destroyer loaded with ogogoro to bribe this peeps into submission plus they will even fight along side your forces. Invade from north Naaahhh, the north is already invading its self just avoid that zone its not worth it. |
| Re: The US Establishment May Be Planning Military Action In Nigeria by Nobody: 4:24pm On Nov 19, 2020 |
I don't think USA have any interest in invading Nigeria. If they come, the only place they will face the slightest form of resistance is the upper North. Nobody is going to be detonating any IEDs in their bases. They won't bomb shiit except government regions in Abuja It won't be like the situation in Muslim countries. Southerners that love Americans like jollof rice. |

Nuel4:Americans don't care if you love them or not. If they want to create mayhem they will create mayhem. The idea is for you to fight each other while they loot your resources. People in DRC loved Americans too, yet go there and see the destruction. In Iraq, many welcomed US troops with flowers after they toppled Saddam Hussein. Go to Iraq today. Many of those people are either dead, or the remnants recall the days of Saddam with tears and nostalgia for the 'good old days'. If the US invades Nigeria, in 10 years time you will be looking back at this period as the 'good old days'. Guaranteed. |

rossniti:then tell your Buhari and the Fulani cartel to wrap their round governance and do actual governaning instead of the bigotry and terrorism they're currently engaged in. If USA will invade I can't stop it, nobody here on Nairaland can stop them but at least our leaders will be the first set of people they will chase down and execute the way they did Saddam |

TimmyA:visibly a higher brain capacity. Northerns put their best in power while southerns, particularly in the SE, leave power open for their alcoholics and indisciplined jackals to take over. The average SE governor and senator is less educated than the average citizen. The north is the reverse. That being said yes, El Rufai is an extremely dangerous person. Yar Adua hunted him out of the country for a reason. But he's still smarter than every southern politician except Tinubu who will go along with the tide. |
