Please my mum needs help.  This evening, my mum called crying about the alert she just received from her bank, Eko Bank, her November pension #40,000 debited by scammer. Pictures attached below. About an hour later, she received another alert notifying her of a #200 top up done with the remaining #261.07 to a phone number 08148996619 About two months ago, a number called my mum, requesting for her bank details and some numbers on her atm card. Few minutes after giving them out, she got a top up alert to this phone number 07041250728 cos she was having less than #1000 on it. Straight away, I called the Eko Bank customer care line to block any transaction on the account which they did. She went to Eko Bank, Lagere Ife to open the account for transaction again and she was given another ATM card. Please help my mum to rectify this against future occurrence and help bring the frauster to book, she has been crying on phone when she called to notify and I’ve not been able to concentrate on my reading for my exam tomorrow.

Take the transaction details to the scammers bank first and report for scam |
