You can't even sleep outside in Canada except you wanna get frozen, even with heater inside it's still cold. Don't be desperate,it's not easy anywhere in the world!!

most people migrating to Canada had good jobs here and they know the situation over there. It will not be easy for everyone to get a job immediately but with time and getting additional education it will come. A better life for them and kids is the most important thing. Also after getting Canadian passport in 3 years some will come back to Nigeria.
I knew all these, he mentioned great job and to my understanding of great job doesn't include blue collar job.
When there is too much expectations that's why some do regret because they were expecting that "great job" . I never said you can't get that great job but it is likely to start from somewhere.

I agreed with all other points which included easy way of getting citizenship after fews years and doing it for their kids ☺.

How about another option? Go abroad and set up a nice life for yourself back home. Let's be honest. No one really wants to leave. Even those comfortable abroad always think about home.

Use that foreign money to set a bunch of businesses up. Build a home. Save a bit. Maybe get some investment real estate abroad. Then go home and live like a king. Early retirement basically. You can spend the rest of your days starting more businesses or acquiring more investment real estate.

So why have you not relocated to the same Nigeria? Don't you like money? Don't you want to be placed side by side with Dangote and Co? Huh?

More bills, without even getting anything in return.

I keep wondering how some can't think without any form of sentiments cum stupidity.

Isn't even more good paying taxes and any form of bills that's been put in a good use, good roads, infrastructural amenities and other basic needs of life.

Here in Nigeria, I pay tax without seeing or benefiting from it.

Even if I make 1billion today here in Nigeria, I'm leaving.

What a wicked leaders and confused followers.

Weldone maternal, someone like you are the few ones encourage us.

I'm glad some people appreciate my presence here. Most people who talk don't have any experience living in both systems. To be honest most are truly ignorant. I mean you pay taxes in naija, yet you still pay for school fees, hospital bill, etc, you're actually paying double. Abroad you pay your taxes and you enjoy life knowing all the essentials are covered. Taxes are paid here WITH PRIDE.

Another person is now saying they can't do 6 months of cold weather. Yet they can do 12 months of a Buhari administration, 12 months of sars, 12 months of Nigerian police, 12 months of no running water, etc. Just comedians on these boards.

People who have regrets migrating to Canada were most likely a loser in naija. Canada gives you opportunities. You have to go and grab them, and make a way for yourself. They're already giving you a passport, a working system, peace, stability, etc. You now want them to go find you that great job? Laser, loser ass youths these days.

ever since this protest a lot of way to move out have been on my mind but my biggest challenge now is money.

to be sincere as for me I have started rallying around to see how I can gather some money within some space from now.

I know most people will always say that people are only traveling out to get stranded but it is better to be in a place where opportunities can easily come.

Lol if we all have our way, we will want to leave this country ......

Kekereekun123 I want to ask you a question
People paint this Canada of a country so I want to get something's straight and correct from you about the country . endut1 too is not left out.
As at ending of last months i read a thread here whereby a man living in Canada with his family shared his monthly savings with us. To me the figures I saw was pretty good and ok if one is not greedy .
And he said something strange again about his savings he said he saved 15000 CAD in 3/4 months I think, I was amazed like is Canada the new blood money country. So In my mind I was like we die here.
So leaving the thread my mind was telling me that this man might be giving us lamba cause that money he said he saved is over 4 million naira our currency here in just 4 months and he told us that he is a Jewish security .
So my question is ,is this true ? If yes how possible is this? There are heavy bills there to pay how come you save up that much and you're not even doing a professional work.

it is very possible to save that amount because most of their bills are covered in the tax and like the read from the article, children between the age of 5 to 19 enjoy free education... so that way parents spend less..
for more about how to relocate to canada you can check thehustlepower.com/optin/ That might help

Thanks for stating this. Being in Nigeria means you're already losing by 1 - 0 to life.

If you're a loser in Canada, chances are you were a loser in Nigeria (or probably going to be a loser)

One can even become a citizen within 4 years of living here as a permanent resident. To apply for citizenship, one only needs to be physically present for at least 1,095 days (3 years). So, all things being equal, one can become a citizen within 4 years.

There are some programs (especially provincial programs) that only those who are bilingual (or those who understand French) can apply for. So, if you can learn French, it will increase your chances of being eligible to apply for such programs. Also, if you eventually decide to go through the Express Entry route, you can get additional points for French.

You can read the link below for more details.

Here are 8 facts you should know about working in Canada incase you are planning on relocating:

1. Canada is searching for educated people

Employers are looking for recent graduates from universities, colleges, and trade schools who would like to live and work in Canada and are able to contribute to its thriving economy. Canada is the most educated country in the world, with over 56% of its adult population having some form of tertiary qualification and an impressive 99% literacy rate. Canada has a range of fantastic immigration options such as the Provincial Nominee Program, aimed at helping skilled foreign workers to work in Canada.
2. Graduates have a close connection between their studies and careers

Two years after completing their studies, 93% of recent graduates find a job in their chosen field of study. Canada has created programs such as the Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), to help eligible graduates who have completed their tertiary education at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) to work in Canada after graduation for up to 3 years.

3. Tech jobs in Canada are in high demand

Working in Canada is one of the best thing that can ever happen to any human on earth
below are some of the industries you can get a job easily

Canada's tech sector is making huge strides. With over 41,500 companies to choose from, finding work in Canada in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector should be a breeze. Tech jobs in Canada are so in demand that both British Columbia and Ontario have introduced Tech Specific draws which focuses on inviting highly skilled and experience foreign tech professionals to live and work in Canada. In the Waterloo region, there are over 2500 jobs available to qualified individuals in the technological industry at any given time.

4. The video game industry is booming

Canada's video game sector is a $4.5 billion industry. It is estimated that there are over 48,000 people who already work in Canada’s gaming industry and this number will grow by 25% in the next 2 years. Gamers who work in Canada can expect to earn a pretty penny at a professional level, averaging at around almost double the national average salary.

5. PayDay works slightly differently

Unlike most countries, Canadians receive their paycheck twice a month, usually at the beginning and middle of a calendar month.

There's really good threads on it. Canada's website is also excellent. Go back and take some time to carefully review.

You can also email immigration and provincial resources about these details, but please don't do so unless you've thoroughly reviewed other resources.

Yesterday, I put up a post asking people if they'd choose a ₦700k/pm job over a fully sponsored opportunity to relocate to Canada and the answers were quite interesting.

I noticed that most of the people who chose the first option think ₦700k per month is a lot of money and I kinda agree with them considering that a lot of Nigerians live below the poverty line and everyone must not relocate.

Truth is, before 20-10-20, I probably would have chosen the job over relocating, but a lot changed for me on that day. Right now, I'm all for moving, especially to Canada.

So, if you're interested in moving and you're skeptical about it, or you're wondering if you should, here are a couple of things that I found out about Canada.

1. It's easier to migrate to Canada legally than other countries. Canada has one of the highest visa options for immigrants, reportedly about 70 options now. You can also become a citizen with 5 years of living in Canada as a permanent resident.

They recently announced that they'll be inviting over 1.2million immigrants over the next 3 years. If you're interested in moving, this is the best time to, considering that things may change. Good thing is you can find almost all you need to know about relocation online.

2. Canada is safe. According to the Global Peace Index, it is the 6th safest out of 163 nations, a title it held also over the past two years. Canada gets good marks when it comes to factors related to internal conflicts, levels of crime and political stability. In addition to good job opportunities, great access to healthcare, and effective government, Canada reportedly has some of the most notoriously friendly people in the world.

3. You have more chances of getting great jobs in Canada because their rate of unemployment is very low, although COVID-19 changed that a bit. For some of their immigration pathways, you don't even need to have a job to migrate. Also, there's dignity of labour there. A dishwasher earns quite well and is not treated as a 'ordinary' dishwasher.

4. As a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, public schools are free for your children from the age of 5 to about 19, and with over 15,000 elementary schools in Canada, there's a lot to choose from.

5. Permanent residents and citizens are also entitled to free public healthcare worth over $6k once you get your health insurance card. All provinces and territories in Canada provide free emergency services even if you don’t have a health card. Their emergency system is quite efficient too.

6. Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees your freedom to practice or hold whatever view you want; personal, religious or political.

7. Canada being one of the G7 economies has one of the strongest economies in the world. They also have low inflation rates.

8. Subject to fulfilling certain conditions and having the employment insurance, you can get between 12 to 18 months maternity/parental leave and earn 55% or 33% of your annual income. That means, if you are earning $100k annually and you choose the 12 months maternity/parental leave, you'll be entitled to $55k for that year.

9. Canada has better work-life balance. The standard number of weekly work hours is 40 hours per week.

10. The Canadian passport is one of the most respected and accepted in the world. With the Canuck passport, Canadian citizens can visit 104 countries without a visa, have access to get 36 e-visas or 22 visas on arrival.

You can visit http://thehustlepower.com/optin/ for more information

A bonus reason is that you'll have a better background for your pictures.

I hope the above reasons are helpful and encourage you if you want and can afford to relocate. Subsequently, I'll be sharing why remaining in Nigeria is not a bad choice either.
