I am really tired of this Nigerian government. They insist on doing what the majority of the governed does not want. They insist on flouting constitutional provisions. I’ll not be shocked if they amend the constitution against the people’s wish. I’ve read about dictatorship, and I’m seeing a semblance of one with this government.

many countries have regulated social media some even pay social media tax . Why don't you see stupid stories on social media from some certain countries for example Dubai many see dubai in social media as a lovely tourist destination and a beautiful city but dubai has it's other side and tales which we don't get to see on social media . In uganda they pay social media tax (ott) . We need it before fake news and rumors will lead to
Total anarchy.People like you are the main problem to this country Dubai leadership with this evil Apc jihidist government

"You will all remember me for the freedom you enjoyed under my administration" - GEJ

This govt is a dictatorship with a democratic face. Everything buhari did before is what he is doing again, reason why I believe he might end up as he did before.
Reason why I laugh when people defend him with the excuse that "he means well for Nigeria but those around him are bad". Who around him today was with him in 1983, why is it that it is the same pattern & agenda he is still pushing today?

Anyway, Keep believing in an atmosphere of miracle, because na only divine intervention go fit remove this blood sucking demon from our head o! grin

Will social media regulations end corruption, police brutality, jumbo salaries of politicians and improve the quality of life of Nigerians? Is that One of APC's campaign promises?I thought you people kicked out Jonathan because his government, according to you,is corrupt.
Why can't you use the same quick approach of regulating social media to develop human and infrastructure.Dont tell me at the end that you spend #3b to regulate social media because you are looking for money to steal.

when they say regulate they will put in place stronger cyber laws to curb fake news like for those mischievous people that get a random picture and caption it wrongly to cause mayhem that is totally wrong

Who will regulate the agencies of FG spreading fake news?
We have seen many politicians posting fake pictures too.
They should just stop chasing their shadows because I don't know how they want to effectively regulate people that didn't register with them in a democracy.
Those that really have interest in spreading fake news will always get away with it because they will have the resources.
It's only the ignorant once that they will punish
