complexBoss12: I'm surprised people are talking like this. He once gave attention to Eyimba and those years were there best. Furthermore, it's not that the man wants to carry money and just dash out. It's purely an investment. He'll make his money back. What profits really wants to come from a club in Nigerian league at the moment? 3 Likes |

My brother@Vincent, I love your advice but let me remind you that the senator is a business man. No business man will want to put huge money into a biz he is not sure of his returns. |

Which Enyimba, what will be his return in investment. This is business leave sentiments aside. Even Nigerians prefer to watch Arsenal than Enyimba play. |

DamnnNiggarr:I believe the best way to view it strategically is Kalu buying Arsenal, then coming back to buy Eyimba in the future. Once he secures both in his bag, there can sign an agreement between both clubs for players loan exchange, buying young players from Eyimba to Arsenal, loaning of youngsters to Arsenal, friendlies between both clubs as a means of revenue, coach exchange program, such as more training and building knowledge for the local coaches, investment into health science between clubs, bringing technology into the mix There could be benefits assuming that will be his adopted model, so it might be a good move afterall |

You're right. Nigeria has a no serious club one can boast of. The league is not even well organized. Kalu and Dangote have been talking about taking over Arsenal while there's nothing happening in the NPL. The league obviously need sponsors, it needs money. In the end, it's their money. And they have every right to do whatever they like with it. Turn on your device location services to see the distance between you and the service providers around you. See link below. |

It was Orji Kalu that made this same Enyeama become what he is today in football ; when Orji Kalu managed him as. Keeper when he was playing for Enyimba. So why is he pretending like he doesn't understand the reality. To start with Enyimba is owned by the "Government" you can't poach the Government to buy it's property except if the Government itself declares it's intent to sell which is impossible. Also in Nigeria we politicize everything I tell you if Orji Kalu attempts to buy Enyimba the same people that are asking him to buy it will be same people that start raising so many issues. |

Everybody keeps saying he should invest in Eyimba.......no serious business minded person will invest in a team that plays in a league that has no sponsor, league that doesn't pay winners.....That's why all the teams in the Nigerian league r own by state government aside from mfm which is basically a youth empoerment scheme of mfm n ifeanyi uba for political influence....as long as Nigeria league is still managed the way it's managed, no serious investor think twice about it |

Re: Vincent Enyeama Urges Senator Kalu To Invest In Enyimba Instead Of Arsenal by Bobwitwicky(m): 7:27am On Nov 21, 2020 |
yommen: Make his money back from what?? A league without sponsor?? A league that u get nothing as a champion aside playing in CAF champions league, a league that u barely make a million naira from ticket sales thru out the entire season?? Dangote once try to take over the management of the league, do u know the reason he backed out?? ....... You guys should try n follow Nigeria league before u come to such conclusion.....he gave attention to eyimba as a governor, he managed the team then with state funds not his personal funds, don't u think he had considered that before looking outside?? |

complexBoss12: Yea- But I differ a little here. Orji Uzor Kalu did it while he was a Governor with less than 10m dollars if not lesser. It was a success. Enyimba became the biggest team in Africa. Italian, Spain etc teams were all calling for friendlies. Imagine if it has continued like that. There is no mega investment in Nigeria by Private sector that has failed. (Check). This is over 200million market 5 x that of London. Dangote is richer than all the Premier teams joined together, the bulk of the money (70%) came from Nigeria business. MTN, DSTV the same. Our music industry was not rated anywhere in the world before 2003, Private investors came with far less than 100m Dollars today we are far ahead of UK, arguably No3 in the world . So why can it be done n football. I think we love football more than music. |
