It does prove something. It proves that some of the protesters were "armed" contrary to what they will have us believe. Is your guy licensed to carry? Possession of firearms is an offense, in case you don't know. You can only speak for your guy and his ability to follow through with his threats. Did you look at the post I replied to? The Army had consistently maintained that protesters hauled stones at them, you are the ones who kept saying it was a lie. I only provided proof that protesters had stones and bottles in their possession.

When you choose to haul stones at armed soldiers, you should be prepared for however they choose to respond. In anycase, the Army had said under oath that they responded with blank bullets showing great restraint. Why hasn't a single protester at the Lekki Toll Gate shown up at the tribunal? Setting up a Judicial panel is one of the 5for5 demands.

As for who got injured, go listen to yesterday's testimony of the Army at the Judicial panel. He specifically named a Major who got injured from the attacks on that night. Do make sure you watch the testimony yourself, do not rely on sensational headlines from media houses looking for clickbaits.

But this is the first time the army has been brought in with the aim of killing protesters. The Army were deployed all round Lagos following the curfew and not just to Lekki. Are we supposed to believe that the same Army who didn't shoot at a single hoodlum caught looting and burning will now open fire at protesters at the toll gate? Ask yourself, what is the motive for that?

Funny enough, the first sources of bullet shells we saw did not come from government sources nor the Army, it came from the protesters and their enablers and they were clearly blanks! Again, check the dates and time.

The Army did not lie. The so-called peaceful protesters had stones and bottles with them as confirmed by this post below. Take note of the date, 19-10-2020, a day before the Lekki incident. Even the attention of the ringleaders of the protest were called to it.

But Abuja was not violent na. It was in Lagos that Lekki happened and you were implying that the protesters either shot at the soldiers first or threw bottles at them. So how does Abuja telegram have anything to do with Lekki and that is if the telegram group is genuine in the first place. We saw thugs attacking these protesters live and we never saw them shoot the thugs back or throw stones or bottles at them. So why would they now choose to attack soldiers when they never attacked thugs who are civilians like them. Don't forget most of these protest venues had mobile police officers there and if they were brandishing such weapons, reports would have been made and actions taken against them don't you think?
