I have a question if thier intention was actually not to kill why did they carry live ammunition?
If you are to say, they are to carry it, of which they suppose to. But considering the masses what possibility can you say they didn't shoot considering the big masses?

If it was 7 youths as it was reported by the genuine protesters at Lekki, it is still so sad,
and if it was 78 or 100 youths as it was circulated all over social media,
We deserve to know the whole truth as a nation.
So we can know how to table our matter to the international community.
We want to know what is true and what are lies.
We dont want to accept any lies from the Army and at the same time, We don't need some people (celebrities et al) fueling fake news on this heated country now.
We are not fighting against Nigeria,
We are fighting for Nigeria.

What happened to use of rubber bullets and blank ammunition just as it's done in other saner climes. Or do u think rubber bullets can't paralyze a mob crowd?? What about the use of hot water grenades, stun grenades and tear gas?? These have all been found very potent against any supposed mob but yet not lethal. But your army went with live ammunition and u are defending them.

Don't worry soon the evil u cover and defend today will catch up with your family members and you will live so long to bear the pains alone as u watch each of your family members fall prey to the evil in this nation. Rubbish!!

The Australian military is in the process of charging highly trained Special Forces soldiers engaged ON OPERATIONS against Taliban insurgents with "war crimes" for the killings of 39 people who posed NO THREAT to the soldiers. The panel of inquiry determined that there were failures of command and control at the team, unit and command levels and the killings were a part of "blooding" operators with "kills".
In one incident, witnessed by an attached US marine, someone taken prisoner was topped because there was no more room in the helicopter to take them back to be interrogated at the main base.

Compare and contrast this show of shame at the #endsars judicial enquiry in Lagos. The protesters posed NO THREAT and yet we've been fed a catalogue of lies from who authorised the deployment of soldiers to whether the soldiers were even present to whether the soldiers used live rounds or blanks to the number and extent of casualties to who/where has custody of the victims to social status of the bodies held by LASG. I emphasize that Lekki was not Helmand Province, an active battle space.

Also recall that in the US, the Defense Secretary REFUSED a presidential request to DEPLOY the military onto the streets of US cities being menaced with random looting under the guise of protests.

You call peaceful protesters asking for the betterment of the police force and the country at large criminals? How has the money collected over the years been used? It was a Nationwide protestest not just Lagos state, and lekki toll was one of the various places.

Those were hoodlums and thugs hired by the state and political big wigs to destabilise the #EndSARS protesters and their movement.

Unfortunately, things got out of hand as their sponsors could not control them anymore, and they ran amok, looting and burning different places they could find!
