Salvation is only the beginning! Those who fail to become worthy of Him i.e. born of the Spirit of God may as well wish they had never been saved(salvation) to begin with.

The Spirit of God is not meant as a Blessing in the New Covenant. He is instead the seal of the New Covenant, sealing not those who obtain salvation(are saved), but those who are born of Him.

All of those who believe in Jesus Christ are saved and are given eternal life, but only those who go on to be born of the Spirit of God i.e., become worthy of Jesus Christ, are born of His Spirit, and it is to those that the Spirit of God can be considered a blessing. To those who were not born of Him, He serves as witness against them.

I don't think it is the Bible that you have been reading at all for you to come to the conclusion above. God never promised Abraham the Holy Spirit. I am afraid you have imbibed the lies of men to a detrimental end there.

Please go back through the book of Genesis so you can better understand what God promised Abraham as stated there. So when you re-read the letters of Paul, you can have a better idea of what Paul in fact wrote of even there in Galatians.

The verse you quoted from the book of Acts does not change or contradict any of what I have stated so far as Salvation and being born of the Spirit of God. Instead of assuming you can counter the admissions of Jesus Christ Himself by quoting random scripture, do what Jesus Christ said you should... become like a child (clear your mind of all that you have been previously taught by men) and instead allow Him to teach you everything you need to know about God and the things of God.
