He's swallowing his pride on Atikus advise. The former had offered him advise on economy by collecting tax from the rich and leave out the poor. This directive does seem it cool earlier but with d obvious worst recession hence heaping to advise. thebosstrevor1: 15 Likes 3 Shares |

These are good intentions. I can see is about economic structure and agitation. Good flowing ideas. But I don't know how much more difference this will make now. Well everything legally added to the income is good. If Nigeria can be wise to grow from the ground up, the best electrical and power engineers need to be in Nigeria from all over the world, helping build electricity all over the country. Leaders can focus on maintaining and slightly modifying as is infrastructure and institutions; and simultaneously going all out on the electrification of the country. 24/7/365 light. Water and light is a very good foundation. Machines are taking over jobs, which is what electricification can do very well, advanced countries are experiencing this, we need to be going for electricity but also being electric in our vision. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Minimum wage earners should not be taxed in the first place but.... never too late to do the right thing. How will the FG make up for this loss in revenue? Shouldn't it be by increasing taxes on the rich? To make matters worse... reducing import duties on cars to 5%.... another loss of revenue. How will this help the economy or in the development of the country? Transportation?... and the road infrastructure is presently inadequate and in shambles? .. then to add competition to the local auto industry that's trying to get on its feet? We will buy locally assembled cars.... from Peugeot?.. and other foreign companies?...or Innoson and other native Nigerian companies? You're losing revenue... but promising to buy cars... where is this money coming from? If anything... duties need to be increased on cars and reduced on buses... trucks and other commercial vehicles as well as agricultural vehicles and machinery. How can the duties on these vehicles to boost the economy be double that of cars which are a burden? I really don't know how people see this as a good development. 1 Like |

So Buhari has to be spoken for? And for the tax, that'll mean it'll affect business men and industrialists, right. I mean the man producing pure water. So a sachet would now go for a relatively high price bah...and the price would not affect minimum wage earners bah..? We're still waiting for the southern borders to open 1 Like |
