Pride and ethnocentricism will not allow the south east people to unite with the north to rule the country. Unfortunately, middle belt states like Niger, Nassarawa, Kogi and (Kwara to some extent) would never support an SE candidate, they always vote along with the Core north.

Others like, Plateau, Benue and Fct would be insignificant because the votes there would be 50/50.

Hence an SE candidate would never cling the post without Sharia north support.


Let's even agree that NC will vote for SE, do you think SS+SE+NC would beat NW+SW+NE?

Go and check the total number of registered voters in the 6 geopolitical zones.

I'm from Kwara state, a state dominated by Muslims though I myself am a Christian.

We have Sharia Court in Ilorin, Kwara state generally is FAR more peaceful than all the 5 SE states, if there is any SE state more peaceful than Kwara let me know.

We would never vote for an igboman, trust me, same with out brothers from Niger, Kogi, Nassarawa.

Niger state too also have Sharia and the state is far more peaceful than all the SE states.
