The stumbling block of those who want restructuring is that the core North will never allow it. Its like running into a dead end
Why are we asking the constitution? Arewa has always broken the rules of the constitution, in fact they master over everyone now because they are reckless in matters of compliance with constitutional guidelines. Why cant south break the rules and just do what it wants in defiance? Its because leadership we have are afraid to loose their accumulated loot.

Did you not see their fear when EndSARS was on? They have never tasted that. Citizens go through terror and chaos everyday, every week, every month, every year....just three weeks of defiance from youths and all politicians were scared, running helter skelter. Tinubu fled, his son fled. Some of the politicians in Lagos fldd to Abuja. Even in Abuja some fled out to dubai. They are afraid of loosing their loot. Afraid of being displaced.

To save south from northern domination we need to defy constitution in all its ramifications. Our southern leaders say constitution was imposed by arewa and our concession was not obtained, so then why do we obey a document we did not contract? Fulani is not only herding cows, they are herding south.

But the son of Niger Delta was a president for 6years, coupled with having the minister for Niger Delta for about 2 decades now, yet, they never mentioned resource control throughout the period. So why do you still think the North is your problem?
It's harder for someone from a minority tribe to implement resource control, there would be riots on the streets of Kano.

Anyway that's beside the point, we want it now, what's wrong with the timing?

The Igbo and the Fulani north are the number 1 opposers of resource control

Decree 34 issued by the Igbo dictator Ironsi is there for all to see

That decree put an end to true fiscal autonomy and regional governance .
You don't make any sense. When ironsi was head of state, the current niger delta were part of the Eastern region .
Are you saying the Igbos decided on decree 34 to cede the resources they already control to the federal government?
I don't think decree 34 had to do with resource control.

That's because the ND was bent on leaving Nigeria to avoid the igbo pests.

The coup only happened because eastern region was about to be broken up with the COR region created separate .

The Igbos did not want to miss out of the oil money and so staged the coup and destroyed regional governments .

The forced unification decree was meant to ensure that any talk of the Niger Delta secceding was to be considered treason.

This is the reason why the Igbo coup happened.

Now you understand why Ojukwu declared Biafra and fought. You cannot defy the constitution without taking up arms. The North sees the South as its property

I remember ACF and northern top guns picking a fight with GEJ when he appointed Sen. Femi Okunrounmu to midwife the 2014 confab.

Their criticism then was that Okunrounmu was a crusader for resource control. Bros, study Nigeria political space very well, the northerners in NASS will never support any bill to liberate the us from the shackle of stagnancy, oppression, tyranny and consumptive bureaucracy.

The recent #EndSars was a better sample for you to see how conservative those northerners were in demanding for a symbiotic change.

My aforementioned #EndSars sample didn't means I supported the destruction the followed the protest.

Those northern guys are the greatest beneficiaries of the mess we are right now.

Politicians and deceiving of people are like 5&6, he knows that their people are angry with them and for them to come back home to work for their party they need to tell their people what they will like to hear something they are not supporting before.

Your argument is childish. Because some people will steal money then we should share our resources whilst those in Zamfara keep theirs. They steal money in Arab countries too but because the money is huge and the population is small, the amount they steal becomes negligible.
You're not from the Niger Delta so l am not surprised
I am from the Niger Delta but I am disgusted and upset with our wicked leaders from that region .If we know we need change then we must first clean up our region of all these thieves becos it will not change anything even if we are given our full resources to managed. I am from Delta state .
