GAZZUZZ:

Giod day Gazzuzz,

Please permit me to state the issue i have here, i recently got a nigerian used camry 2004 and drove all d way from abuja to osogbo witjout issues, transmission was great. But i noticed the the oil shortage sign on the dashboard, it flashes at some point and some times it refuses to go off until i off the engine and start it again but this light comes on only when i put on the AC, its come after some.minutes when the AC is on. And even when i off the AC it refuses to go off until i off and start the engine (i also recently serviced the car with a new filter.) My kazeem had to brimg down the sump and cleaned with the new filter incase it has been clogged with dirt, but the issue persist when my AC comes on, without the AC light doesnt come.on. my kazeem is saying we need to change the oil pump. I would.have located you with the car but i am scared of driving it that far from osogbo. Please advice me on what to do before the engine gets tampered with. Apart from the signal on the dashboard. Every thing works well. Please advice sir

Innoson cars accepts Naira not dollar. Let us grow our Naira

Brother innoson is a learner near Toyota or Honda or any major car brand in this world

I don’t think even innoson can make 1 million units of cars in one year more less in 5 years

What about spare parts when the cars break down, this is the mistake everyone makes, buy naira grow naira everyday . But the naira product you want us to buy don’t even have models of its car it is selling.

More less innoson cars are not just about even more expensive than the tokunbo cars so like what’s the point bro.

Like bro what’s the point of the local substitute nor being able to satisfy demand, what’s the point

It is not funny right now.. you can’t buy dollar at 480 and expect to sell at same price as before..

Nor be importers fault o.. las las, the bulk falls to the end buyers which is quite unfortunate

Nigerians are greedy people
Yes dollar has increased but surely the levy import levy on imported cars has been slashed. So how come the effect can’t and won’t be seen by people buying tokunbo cars

Nigerians are greedy people and would exploit any situation. Any price of anything that goes up in Nigeria through chance, luck or pure economics never goes back down when every parameter has been fixed

Tokunbo cars aside, let’s say it cost 1.5million to import a tokunbo Toyota Camry 2009 to Nigeria. And the seller wants to make his own profit and sells for 1.9 million

Please what about used Nigerian cars, how come all of a sudden it is now expensive, like which part of forex deals with Nigerian used cars that has been used on Nigerian roads.

Too much greed in this country and sometimes if you say too much, people would be like if you can’t afford it, shift and same people want corruption to end, sars to end, nepotism to end. Like una never serious yet

Finally this country is a time bomb, imagine sellin a 2006 car for $3,000 (1.4 million )

Imagine a 14 year old car that the Oyimbo manufacturers have even forgotten they made 14 years ago still selling for millions in a third world country that produces nothing of its own and only imports everything to sustain its lifestyle smh

Has the bolded been implemented? Please check your facts.

Reduce landing cost to the barest minimum by patronizing professional auto theft syndicates .

You could get a clean RX-350 for $5,000 .

Landing cost of 3-4mil and sell for 5-6mil profit.

That's the only way.

Insurance will compensate the original car owner.

In moments like this, as an auto importer or anyone in a similar importing/international venture, the most feasible way to stay above the board is creating a Special Purpose Vehicle finance venture, which must domicile in the country of export. One must have the right network to make this happen, though, because it requires an alliance with subterranean financial operators, preferably domiciled in the exporting country.

For those of you still saying Nigeria go beta, this simple analogy has explained the future to you.

I gave up a lot to start afresh abroad. No be say I dey mad. I simply don't believe in today alone. The Nigerian forecast appeared too gloomy for me and my unborn kids.

I have seen Interpol intercept a container filled with stolen vehicles from USA. I swear the vehicles were shipped back.

I have also seen a vehicle user take a high end car for servicing in an autonshop in lekki . When the vehicle details were entered into the system it was flagged as a stolen vehicle from USA , vehicle and owner were moved to police headquarters Abuja to gist with Interpol.

The reduced import fee is specifically for cars mearnt for transportation of person s..e.g bus..coaster bus.. luxurious bus etc
Personal cars are not included in this
I.e the cost of buses will reduce
