Am a muslim a yoruba for that case,additional from kwara state am into a distance relationship with an ondo girl but she is a christain. currently both of us love eachother very well we even promised ourselves marriage but the problem is one,and what is the answer=my mother.she is the one whom have been discouraging me not to try and date a christain don't know why she is against it and me sincerly i want marry the girl from my heart(pls advise me on what to do pls guys no insults).

Listen bro. Love don't care who you are, where you are or where you come from. Since your mom dosen't like her, then let your girlfriend do things to win your mom's heart. Like covering her body, greeting them respectfully, helping your mom with chores, buying your parents gifts i.e hijab, gele, wrappers, caftan. This will make them see her as a good wife & think she's willing to accept islam..Sorry am just seeing this post now. I would have advised you long ago

In addition to that, she can be visiting them regularly, doing things your mom loves. Make your girlfriend look presentable to your mom. If you can plan with her and her parents to make it seem to your parents like she is willing to accept islam. If my advice is not okay, then, think of another way but make your mom see her as if she is ready for islam.
The problem is if her parents accept you as their future in-law. I don't know if my advice matters but I've tried to help a brother. I didn't force you ooo. Do this if you think its fine

Find your fellow Muslim girl and settle down with... If you don't want a divided family.. Where one part will be Christian and the other a Muslim...
