Please can someone here explain to me more about spinach
farming,
i can hardly find any useful topic about it here on nairaland
why is it not cultivated more unlike cucumbers and peppers?
Is it that there is no market for it or the profit dont just add up.
Where can one market it or source for sure buyers.
I need a thorough research before Investing in it,
and also where can the seeds be bought from? thanks

The market is really large and wide.

And also enough chance to make it as a constant supplyer to top restaurants in lekki or ikoyi if the need be.

Dont really know if a good farm hand can be sourced from nairaland here to occupy this project on my absence due to tight shedules.

I got friends that owns foreign guest house and some exotic bars to rap up the day.

And to get them supplied with some spinach and lettuce will really be a good choice on my part.

A friend of mine laughs it out because am kind of been too lazy to invest on farms this days,

although i got other 3rd party farms i sponsor in the north,

hoping to bring it down here south.

will be taking up space close to ikorodu and investing #2.6 million on this for a start wont be a bad idea neither.

An expert hand will be needed to achieve this.

Trying to shift attention to some sought of other business since the nigerian government are kind of swindling us and are never steady on their words.

How i wish i where old enough like been 67yrs,

i would have gone trying my hands on politics,

but i think am okay with this farm system of exotic vegetables

The seed is available, but it depends on the type you want. There are different types and species of spinach. Thanks

i need high quality seeds sourced from a notable source,

Assist the mentioned account with the 4.2million for seeds and 2.6million you mentioned above. Spinach is one of the crops the guy wants to produce, and you have the market for it to make millions. He mentioned lettuce too in his threads. What is the big issue there? Assit him, and I am sure he will post his successes here. Many will join and invest in him. This is the best you can do for him and for yourself. When Okafor is good with spinach which you can confirm, why looking for another production expert?
